Every August, I catch the tail of summer in the chestnut shell with my friends. This year, some nights, mainly because my friends have work and other things in twos and threes, and it is easy to get together. Gathering chestnut shells for a rare weekend. After a year, the chestnut shells have been renovated again, the small garden is neat and western-style, small and fresh, and the meals are upgraded to the level of a restaurant. During the May Day holiday, I took my child on a trip. Since it was a temporary decision to go to Chengde, I booked a room on the evening of April 29. There were no parent-child rooms. I saw that there were two separate 1.35-meter single beds in the room and decided to put them together. The 2.7-meter bed was enough for a family of three (the child was about 1.4 meters). When I arrived at the hotel, I found that there were no children's products. I called the hotel front desk to ask for children's products and soon delivered special slippers, bath towels, toothbrushes, bath gel and a thin quilt for the child. They helped us put the two beds together into a huge big bed. Since there was a plan to put the bed together, I brought a small mattress and put it on the seam, which was really comfortable. The hotel gave us a bathing ticket in Rehe. My husband went there twice and said that if the room was really crowded, the bathing overnight was also an option. The hardware was good, but there were many details about the charges. The hotel also provided a heater, which made the room a lot more comfortable after 10 o'clock in the evening. People who check in later need to pay attention: the hotel does not have soap, the shower head has no rod, which means that in addition to the sun shower head, your handheld shower head can only be fixed at a height, there are no bathroom slippers but no bathroom anti-slip mat, so you can only go barefoot. Children need to pay half price for breakfast (more than 30 yuan per time). Try to get a room near the river for a better view!

GGuest UserThis “Songshu Inn” (“Squirrel Hotel” on the actual sign) is next to the entrance to the “seven-colored forest” - a surprisingly fun and family-friendly place to visit in the summer, well, at least for families who do not come from the actual prairie. Mostly domestic travelers but that should be a taken at such a lesser-known location internationally. Still, we ended up staying an extra day to visit nearby theme parks. As someone who had spent more than a year in business/resort hotels all over the world, all I want to say that the hospitality of the hotel staff truly exceeded my expectations.

Compared with the ”tearing feeling” of booking two double-bed rooms for the family, the suite perfectly solves the spiritual need of the family to be together, and the room has its own small balcony, overlooking the Summer Resort across the Wulie River, the scenery is so pleasing to the eyes! ! !
In terms of catering, breakfast is mainly Chinese, and there are also Western milk bread, coffee, salad, etc. The hotel can provide lunch and dinner. The price will definitely be higher than that of local restaurants, but it is not outrageous. If you want to save more, turn right and walk 60 meters out of the door. There is a large supermarket next door with everything.
There is a self-service laundry room on the third floor of Building B of the hotel, which is still very necessary for taking children out, and it can solve the problem of washing and drying in one stop.

This time I went on a weekend outing with friends and decided that I had to experience it. My friends fell in love with it as soon as they arrived. They all said that they could just lie down here and bask in the sun without having to climb Jinshan Ridge~
The room is very clean and tidy, parking is convenient, the supplies are complete, and the quality is good. The room is very spacious. The special price room and the private courtyard suite are equally spacious. There are one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs in each suite, with separate bathrooms. In addition, the living room is also very spacious, and it is not crowded for 8 people to play two tables of cards. GGuest UserThe location is good, just across the road from the entrance of the scenic spot. Although it is a 4-star hotel, the hygiene is barely enough for a 3-star hotel. There was an unpleasant sewage smell in the corridor, and the sheets didn't seem to be changed after every guest. When I went to bed at night, I discovered that there were blood stains on the sheets. It was too late, so I didn't go to the waiter to change them. There was a conference group that day and there were so many people. There was no room to park in the free parking lot. To eat, you usually go out to eat on the street. The food is generally not cheap. Overall it's pretty average.
