My wife and I have enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn in Mt Pleasant, SC. The facility is clean and everything we used in our suite worked well. The staff at this place are ALL amazing. they are polite and accommodating. Included full American breakfast buffet available every morning was excellent, Kudos to Shirley for such a beautiful, delicious presentation. Cathy at Housekeeping ( others too ) , Ariel and Jennifer on the front desk ( there were other folks whose names I didn’t catch at the front desk ) Julian on the maintenance team , He was always around and always looking to help us if we needed something. There are several other people who I didn’t learn their names, but each and EVERY one of them were friendly and helpful. To say we felt welcomed and cared for would be an understatement. Looking forward to Our next visit already.

I have stayed in downtown Charleston, West Ashley, & Mt.Pleasant many many times over the years and I finally decided to give the Indigo à try for a long 4 day weekend. From the time I arrived plenty of onsite parking, the bell hop whisked my luggage inside with a big smile and warm welcome....well that was just the start!! Everyone at the front desk smiling and welcoming the guests...the process was so fast and effortless and quick to point out complimentary coffees, water(still &sparkling) 24 hours. The the room was amazing. The whole hotel was clean &I felt like I was on a tropical resort. Poolside there is an indoor/outdoor bar with wonderful bartenders and the fried green tomatoes are a must try!! The made to order breakfast and staff were again on point in every level of service and we tried shrimp& grits, crab cake Benedict, omelette to orde, best bacon, I could continue but everything we ate was so hot& delicious. Then of course if you want to sightsee downtown or head out to any of the beaches or Islands it's a turn out the parking lot onto Hwy 17 and they are all within a 10 min drive This will be my new go to hotel toall my friends, family,& business associates!! ENJOY!!

We arrived early (hours before check-in) at our hotel. Front desk employee Khadijah was our friendly contact who helped to check us in and place our luggage behind the desk while we awaited our room. She suggested local areas we can review via walking which included the pier. When we returned from our walking excursion, Khadijah asked if we were ok with a top floor and completed our room checking-in. We asked for additional bath towels and she was able to provide them immediately. It was less than ideal to walk in the hallway towards our room to see dirty linens in the hallway for multiple rooms. We had 2 queen beds with extra space which was helpful for our suitcases. Everything in our room was clean and refreshed. When walking throughout the hotel, the staff was always friendly and accommodating.

Everyone was rude except for the housekeepers, which were over the top nice and are very hard workers. The manager of the building doesn't know their names because she said ”They don't speak English”. She didn't smile, welcome me or say anything until it came time to check out where she asked me to leave a glowing review for (her), including her name which was Von. Being on vacation I was in a good mood, the city has some pretty areas yet when it came time to check in, I was met with a cold attitude and like I was a pain to deal with and all we did was stay in our room and then check out. We didn't have any extra requests or anything. There were extra fees for things we never did use... The pool wasn't particularly warm and everyone can see you since it's in the front, the restaurant and bar were closed and I would say overall it is very basic. My mom wasn't thrilled with any part of it but I thought the room was super clean and had your basics which I appreciated. The music in the lobby was loud and really annoying and the music in the pool area was loud too but I just put in earplugs so it was okay. :) I'm pretty easy going and honestly don't leave reviews often but I was put off by the manager and staff. I wouldn't recommend it.
