Holiday Inn Express & Suites MT. Juliet-Nashville Area

Never disappointed staying at this location aside from cleanliness good food selection nearby

This Holiday Inn Express location is very convenient with numerous restaurants and shopping close by. There's a busy street in the front, where getting out of the parking lot can be a chore. So we discovered a little bridge on the side of the parking lot that connects to the Starbucks and the Publics Mkt parking lot, where you can get out on the side street fronting Kroger. There was a pamphlet in the room with recommendations for places to each, and one was Jonathan's. Jonathan's was so good that we went there twice, once for lunch and another for dinner. The rooms at this Holiday Inn were well kept, with comfortable beds, 6 drawers to store your clothes, and a nice deep tub that you can soak in. The amenities for the bathroom were Dove products, that lathered well, and the lotion kept my skin soft. This Holiday Inn still has daily housekeeping, where others aren't. The breakfast was decent, and the woman in charge of the food was very attentive and gave us a warning that the breakfast area will be closing soon, so get what you want before the doors close. All of the staff were very friendly!

We had two rooms for two nights. One room had an unmade bed and belongings in it. So we had to return to the desk to ask for a room that was ready (this was 9 PM so not like early check-in). No apology, just a different room. The second room had 2 used washcloths hanging from the shower curtain rail and 1 green cleaning cloth near the sink. There were some long black hairs on the walls near the toilet and sink. Not sure if from previous guests or the housekeepers. The desk lamp didn't really work - had two settings of off and very dim. HVAC fan was very noisy so I turned the unit off and the room temp stayed ok. On taking a shower the next morning there were 3 wall-mounted bottles of Dove. The shampoo was fine. The body wash bottle had been filled with hand lotion. The conditioner bottle may have actually been for hair but it felt strange on my head so I rinsed it well. It didn't have lather so I don't think it was mislabeled body wash. I suggest checking to see if there's actual soap before starting a shower. We were away all day and came back to find there had been no housekeeping. There had been workers in the hallway so they seemed to be on duty. We didn't have door hangers out so not sure why we didn't get service. I also left a $5 dollar tip which was untouched. Other problems included elevator overhead lights that were blinking rapidly. That could be a safety issue for people with seizure disorders. The pool was closed. The breakfast on the 2nd day had no white bread and only 2 slices of wheat bread which were both hard as a rock. Likewise the English muffins and bagels were hard indicating they were likely stale. While I was waiting in the lobby at one point I overheard two people behind the desk complaining about an employee. Best to take those conversations into the back room and not within earshot of guests. Obviously housekeeping and maintenance are not priorities, at least during this visit. Otherwise the stay was acceptable and the hotel was pretty quiet (except for early risers talking in the hallways).

We usually book a IHG property if at all possible when traveling and this was one of the better Holiday Inn Expresses that we have stayed at. It was very clean. The staff was super nice. The location was a short 3/4 mile off Interstate 40. There were restaurants and a huge shopping area right by the hotel. The location was awesome. We enjoyed the room. All needs were met. Price was great. Parking was free. Absolutely no complaints. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Room was older but ok. Staff was very friendly. But when checked my credit card I used, there was two unauthorized charges. One was from a Pizza restaurant in Nashville wish I didn't visit during my stay. Because of this, I will definitely not return to this hotel. Discover Card was contacted and they are doing an investigation but IHG refused to help in any way.

The staff were very cordial and welcoming! Big large rooms! We really liked them. Excellent area with many restaurants nearby! Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very nice. We will stay there again!
