After coming to Melbourne from Melbourne to visit the Great Ocean Road, most people choose to return to Melbourne. We choose to drive all the way to Mount Gambier. There are blue lakes and cave gardens in Gambier. Because there are few tourists in the spring, the hotel stays. Not much. Fabulous, room exceeded expectation and amazing how quiet seeing new year party was on with hotel closing at 3am. Highly reccomend, central location. I never write reviews but room was clean, comfortable and service from senior staff was exceptional. We will definitely stay here again. Be mindful stairs to access rooms however not many. I could see the towns new year fire works from our room.

We spent two nights at the Motel and enjoyed a very clean and spacious room , and also hardly any noise from the road traffic. We arrived on one of the hottet days in Feb about 39 degrees , our room was airconditioned and working before we enterred, thats good service from the staff and manager. cannot fault the location and price and would definately stay there again

High on a hill, this property is good value. Our room had a very comfortable bed, good sofa, long desk with chairs, microwave and toaster. The water was steaming hot and the WiFi was good. Parking is immediately outside the units and we had a lovely view over Mt Gambier from our room. We didn’t use the communal kitchen but I did take a quick look. Very well set up with a full stove and all the equipment you could want. There is a full size dining table as well. The motel is quiet and within a short drive of the Umpherston Sinkhole, Engelbrecht Cave and the Blue Lake. We would definitely stay again.

The entrance and exterior to this venue was uninspiring. However, the Superior Queen Room was superb! It was in excellent condition, clean and well equipped. The kitchenette had a sink and all washing up gear was provided. There was a good stock of tea and coffee. The complimentary biscuits were a nice touch. The shower was great. There were lounge chairs as well as a counter area with bar stools for dining. There were shelves for 2 suitcases. The free Wifi connection was good. Paper and plastic recycling was encouraged. There was a covered BBQ and outdoor eating area. Parking was easy to access. Although situated on a busy road, we heard no traffic noise. A superior room, for sure!
