Adora Inn

We had never been to Mt.Dora and decided to celebrate my husband’s birthday with a weekend getaway there. From the fabulous bed and breakfast, the walkable downtown area to the gorgeous weather (bonus) we couldn’t have had a better experience. The Adorable Adora Inn made the trip extra special! The hosts Arthur and John and their two beautiful dogs made us feel very much at home. Quiet and beautifully decorated with Arthur’s paintings and our spacious room (olive room) and amazing homemade with love breakfast each morning, superb! The Inn is located close to the community center and the downtown area. Easily walkable. Arthur and John gave us excellent food and drink recommendations which we took and were not disappointed. So many places to find good food and drinks. We did take an hour pontoon boat ride on the lake as well as visiting many shops in the downtown area. We met several interesting and friendly people who were also staying at the Inn. Another bonus 😊 You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay at the Adora Inn while visiting Mt. Dora.

Lovely b and b within walking distance of all the sites. John and Arthur made us feel very welcome! Both our rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts provided helpful details about where to eat and what to do. The boat ride around the lake was very enjoyable!

Felt right at home while visiting Mt Dora to see the Holiday lights . Clean and comfortable with a gourmet breakfast in the morning. Walking distance to anything one wants to do in Mt Dora. The owner offered excellent suggestions for dinner. Thank you. we will certainly return!!!

Wonderful hosts. Great location to all things in Mt Dora. The breakfast was a delicious gourmet of all things wonderful. I would definitely stay here again when in the area. We were provided a map of area restaurants which was very helpful. Again, worth staying here just for the breakfast.

Very nice place to stay only blocks away from historic downtown. We were welcomed immediately. Great breakfast and warm hosts, Arthur and John are extremely friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed being there and would stay again when we are in the area again.

Our visit to Mount Dora and the Adora Inn was the cap-off of a bit of a local holiday for us. Seldom do we take time to visit our own state, but decide to do a drive for a week hitting some high points. We decide to visit Mount Dora on the way home to Jacksonville and see the town. Friends from St. Petersburg suggested a stay at the Adora Inn, raving about the comfortable rooms, the fine breakfasts and the gracious hosts, Arthur and John. They weren't wrong. We, too, enjoyed our two-night stay in a quiet, comfortable (and spotless) place. It was the perfect ending to our re-discovery of our home state!
