Owners need to update the mattresses (pull out and king size). Not great sleep, but otherwise fine place to stay with two young kids

This is a great property because of many reason. The location is fantastic. You are right at the base of the mountain. The local shuttle runs every 20 mins that takes you into the downtown Crested Butte and is literally 30 second walk from your room. The rooms are clean and spacious.

We paid over $300 per night, No room service for 5 nights, need to throw trash by ourselves. Report safe is not working, never get it fixed. WiFi is hard to work, turned out need to use our own cell roaming for the whole time. Need to pay extra $150 for parking. Overall, the hotel is overpriced.

Crested Butte - nice place to stay
The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Another great perk is the free bus service into town, which runs regularly and makes exploring downtown Crested Butte hassle-free. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient mountain getaway!

We had a great time at this property over the 4th of July weekend. It was so convenient, and getting to the base where the fireworks and concert were was just outside our door. Getting into the town of Crested Butte was a 5 minute drive or shuttle bus ride. Not a deal breaker, but the pool on the property was pretty small. Overall, great place!

Nice condo/ kitchen not usable
Location was perfect for our group.
Condo was clean and spacious.
The kitchen only had bare minimum of utensils and no condiments/spices… not even salt and pepper!! The nice large refrigerator with filtered water and ice in the door was not working. They had brought in a much smaller apartment sized refrigerator that didn’t have an ice maker!
