Nice for a short stay but not for a holiday. The location is excellent. The wifi is unfortunately very poor and limited.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. The team were superb - from reception through to breakfast and dinner - flawless! The hotel room was of a very high standard, comfortable bed, clean with a stunning view from the balcony across the hotel garden and pool. Air-con, Wi-Fi, etc all of the highest quality. The food at breakfast was good, with dinner even better.

We stayed for 3 nights Beautiful setting The two rooms were lovely and spacious yes maybe needed a lick of paint but the decor was typically French I don’t want modern! The staff really friendly and helpful The food by the pool was excellent We only had one evening meal which was very good The pool area is lovely- however I do agree with some previous comments that it was not particularly clean. The whole pool area needed some cleaning and attention. This didn’t affect our stay. It seemed like there was a lack of staff something we experienced in our previous hotel. Bearing in mind the price was very reasonable for August I would definitely recommend it. There’s a fabulous boulangerie about a 10 minute walk where we had our breakfast every day. Perfect location to visit nearby Grasse and Antibes. We drove to Monaco which was easy.

Although rated as a 4-star hotel, and although the garden, pool area are pleasant but not exceptional, the rooms themselves are tired and bathrooms very dirty, buffet breakfast is uninspiring, most staff untrained/offhand, so we concur largely with the negative comments from previous guests (eg: MarionC, Empi, 195adrian, hkh219.....), some dating back several years, indicating management evidently does not care. The restaurant is often closed to residents unless previously booked, because of external functions, which is the last straw after a long drive. When we complained, we were fobbed off by assurances that updates/renovations were planned for the next winter/next year, but interestingly, the same comments had occurred year after year, so were manifestly untrue. Accordingly, we asked for a 15-20% discount to price levels corresponding more to a 2-star hotel. This was refused on the grounds that then "all our other guests would want the same"(!) so we checked out early and found a better alternative nearby. I am also submitting this commentary & photos to the local tourist board/Chambre de Commerce with the suggestion that they revise the hotel rating downwards until the promised enhancements are actually implemented. Stated as 4 star hotel but maybe just scrapes a 3 in reality. Stayed for 5 nights in July 23. First point of note was there was no AC turned in the hotel, so considering outside was 35C, check was very. warm and humid. The gentleman showing us to our room got lost 3 times on the way to our room, in a small hotel, so first impressions were not great. Bedroom thankfully did have AC but I have no idea why the rest of the hotel is just left at ambient temperature in a very warm summer in Europe. Breakfast buffet below average, small pastries, coffee out of a machine instead of fresh. Pool area and gardens decent but ran out of towels one day, receptionist pretty surly about it and pool service only if you ask. Nothing terribly bad to avoid but also nothing terribly good to really recommend.

Great Hotel , fantastic location, professional people. Good value for the money. Need more international channels TV. This was our second year in a row to stay at the Hotel de Mougins. We are planning to go again next year 2024 in April.

Ok for one night as the rooms are in need of refurbishment, the pool is cold and needs to be heated. The location is good with easy drive into Mougins. Free parking a bonus, but breakfast wasn't up to much

My husband and I love this charming hotel. The staff is friendly. The breakfast in the garden is wonderful. Parking is easy. The location is great. Breakfast in the garden is wonderful. I wish they would sell the scent they use for the ambiance of the hotel. It is amazing! The downside is that someone decided to paint all of the furniture in the rooms and absolutely hideous white! It looks like primer. It is awful. There are paint marks and drips everywhere. They even painted the metal fixtures, and, the bathtub! The horrible decoration of the rooms (blue wall, beige walls, white painted furniture, and bordeaux velour pillows and throw) do not at all correspond with the elegance and charm of this hotel. The other problem is that they have installed a Tesla charging station that is non-stop filled with cars!!! From morning to after midnight people from outside the hotel are their charging their cars. This environment loving people have thrown their trash and cigarettes all over the parking lot and the surrounding area of the charging area!!! Their are cups, bottles, cigarettes, and trash all over the place. Great for the environment. Thank you Tesla lovers! Overall, this is a lovely place to stay. It would be nice if that had nice music in the evening like they had before. There is absolutely NO ambiance in the evening which gives you no desire to eat in the restaurant. It is a shame because they have a great new chef. The pool is gorgeous and very comfortable, but also very dirty. You can literally write your name on the pool walls!! There is a scum of permanent sunscreen on the top of the pool. We did not see anyone clean the pool the entire 9 days that we were there. YUCK! Marie Pierre at the front desk is extremely helpful but the rest of the front desk staff seems to be lost even upon asking the most minor questions. The restaurant staff is overstretched due to lack of personnel, but quite friendly anyway, and very helpful when asked for special things (ie. fruit and vegetables for the juicer in the morning). If you can get past the awful furniture and bathtub in the rooms, and the Tesla charging station, it is really a very charming place to stay. We will be going back next year in the hope that they have changed the furniture in the rooms and gotten rid of the Teslas.
