"1. Pros: Good price, convenient location if you drive (next to Gyeongpo Lake), convenient parking (large parking lot), friendly owner, water purifier and microwave on each floor, good for heating food, hot water comes out well
2. Cons: Central heating, so if you don't tell the counter, it can be a bit hot (there is air conditioning in each room), cleaning or towel change must be requested separately (they don't come in and do it randomly, which may be an advantage)
Since it's an old place that was remodeled, there are traces of time on the fixtures, etc., but I think it's a great place for the price!! The most satisfying thing was the convenient parking."

"오션뷰방향의 방이라 아침에 보는 선셋은 완전 좋았습니다
하지만 아쉬운 점이 많더라구요. 2박을 묵기로 하였으나 1박만 하고 나왔습니다. 물론 환불은 이뤄지지않았구요. 3인실이었는데, 침대가 오래된 스프링 침대라 출렁하는게 불편하였고, 3월이라 밤에 쌀쌀한데, 건물자체도 쌀쌀하고 방도 서늘하더군요. 온돌이지만, 웃풍은 쌀쌀합니다. 옷을 정리할수 있는 공간도 없고, 실내시설이 많이 낡고 관리를 안하셔서, 청소가 아무리 깨끗하게 되어있어도 티가 안날정도로 내부가 낡았습니다. 이름은 호텔이지만 여관수준에 그치고, 깨끗하다 한 수건과 침구도 낡아서, 찝찝하다고 할까. 수건의 크기도 발수건정도의 크기이고, 매트리스에 무슨 비닐을 깔아놓으셨는지 움직일때마다 부스럭대서 불편하였고, 방문도 잘 닫히지않아 억지로 잡아 당겨야하는 상황이었습니다. 실내바닥도 많이 낡고, 벽지도 다 뜯겨있고, 정말 오션뷰만 아니면 최악의 호텔인듯 합니다. 사진과 실제와는 많은 차이가 나네요. 내가 주인이라면 자랑스럽게 내놓을수 있는 호텔은 절대 아닙니다. 사진도 찍고 싶지않은 방시설이었습니다. 정말 아쉬운 점이 많은 호텔이었습니다. 화장실에 옷을 걸거나 놓을수 있는 공간도 없었습니다."

"Basic room with a huge bathroom! Had everything I needed like toiletries, TV, towels. The room only has small towels but large towels should be available from the front desk. Front desk was extremely nice and also agreed to keep my luggage as I reached before the check in time. Walkable to Gangneung KTX station, the central market, and Wolhwa Street."

추운 겨울 온돌방으로 3일을 투숙했는데 매일 방문전 따뜻하게 해주셔서 더 좋았습니다.
다음에 또 강릉 여행을 가게되면 또 투숙할 예정입니다.
수건 세탁에 신경을 많이 쓰신다고 하셨는데 소독 냄세 없이 호텔급 이상이였습니다.

The room is great and the location is really great nearby the sea.
The only concern is that you need to walk a little bit on the nearest bus station. The bus also takes almost an hour waiting time.

GGirlMeetsWorldI had a great stay at this place. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was pretty good. Check-in was easy and quick. The location is not bad, it's a few minutes' walk to Gyeongpo beach and the bus stop. There was no kettle in the room which was a bit annoying to go down to the entrance to get hot water for tea and cup ramen. The place was clean and quiet. The room had a nice big mirror. It also had a communal bbq area outside. I would recommend this place.

LLilLocated next to Anmok Beach and cafe street. It is in walking distance of cafes and the beach. There are some places to eat too.
In the room there is a fridge and communal health and beauty supplies and a hair blowdryer. We checked in around 11 PM the front desk gave us toothbrushes.
The sheets were stained when we arrived in our room. We called since it was after house cleaning hours, they gave us new sheets so we could change them.

There is a self check-in available at the front desk, but for some reason it didn’t work so ended up talking to the reception staff anyway, which is okay.
While the main features of the room were clean (bedding, bathroom…), the air con unit was completely black with mould inside. Unfortunately I have some mould allergies, and so I had some reactions overnight.
The room also had some strange marks on the wall.. I think that the quality of the room looks better in the photos than the reality…
While I did book this place a little bit last minute (a few weeks in advance, but during peak time), it was overpriced for what it was (150,000₩ per night with a coupon).
It’s certainly not the worst place in the world, but I probably wouldn’t stay again if I had to choose.
