Garden Route Safari Camp

We absolutely loved our visit here! We stayed in the Loft, which was amazing. The views from the balcony were incredible, we saw hippos, impala, giraffes and other animals without even going anywhere. It was all beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The food was all delicious (& I'm quite a fussy eater, but even I ate everything!) and all the staff were so kind and friendly (my son thought they'd mistaken us for royalty!!). There was incredible attention to detail, like name cards, handwritten messages and flowers on the table that made us all feel very special. Yolandi made us all feel very welcome. Of course, the highlight of our trip was the safari!! We did sunrise and sundowner safaris with Stephan, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals, plants and history of the area. We absolutely loved our drinks and snacks with the animals (& again everything was beautifully presented). Stephan also shared lots of future plans for the reserve with us. The vehicles were very comfortable, especially the hooded blankets. Even when we had a bit of rain, we were all cosy, warm and dry inside. We also did a walking safari with Josh, who was also very knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting facts about the animals. I can't believe how close we got to the animals, it was such an incredible, unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend the Garden Route Safari Camp highly enough and hope we are able to come back again soon!

My favourite animal in the world is a giraffe 🦒 Mark our fantastically knowledgeable guide helped my dad and I have another phenomenal experience. We saw a zebra foal who was led than 24hours old (I did suggest the named her Lisa!) with her family. The giraffes when we finally found them were just awe inspiring. The boks, the lions, the leopard tortoises, and the African unicorns were but a few of gods creatures we were lucky enough to encounter. Such a wonderfully personal unrushed adventure.

I loved to been in that place, Quite, clean, very safe, and stuff are kind and helpful. And the safari game was exciting. They have many kinds of animals and plants. and the most beautiful thing is you can enjoy in safe

A very wonderful place run by a family cares about wildlife reflected in the evolution of the reserve. The tour guide has a lot of information about the animals of the reverse and the way they grow and live. Accommodation is comfortable and luxurious, and the food is excellent. Everyone makes you feel welcome and always has a smile on their faces.

Everything you could possible need, amazing Safari both by car and horse, amazing stuff that goes above and beyond and is so knowledgeable about nature and animals - clean, spacious, all amenities you could think off, great food, amazing location- very peaceful

The camp's staff were exceptional attentive, knowledgeable, and always eager to enhance our experience. The guided safari tours were the highlight of the stay, providing incredible opportunities to observe wildlife up close, including lions, zebras , gazelle , Ostrich and giraffes. we hope to see more in future, Also i hope that the price of the property includes the safari trip . The guides shared fascinating insights into animal behavior and the ecosystem, making each game drive both educational and exhilarating. Meals at the camp were a delight, featuring a variety of gourmet dishes that catered to all tastes It’s a perfect destination for those seeking both excitement and relaxation in one of the world's most spectacular settings. Highly recommended for an unforgettable safari experience.

Our experience in garden route safari was exceptional. The way we were greeted we felt like home. Also, how personalized and thoughtful everything is. And the food was delicious too. Definitely there will be next time.
