Nice building, lovely setting and in a pleasant part of the world. Also, we'd stayed there some years ago and had had quite an enjoyable time. So, needing an overnight dinner, bed and breakfast stop in that area, we'd booked again. It proved to be a poor decision. Right from the frosty faced 'welcome' on arrival through to the astonishingly poor service we received at dinner in the restaurant, we found the experience to be endured rather than enjoyed. The staff were brusque, offhand and uninterested in trying to provide good service. We were pleased to leave.

This is a nice restaurant which is above local standards. The staff are excellent. They are very professional in their manner and welcoming.. Food is of above average. We had the tasting menus which was well presented; The turbot was exceptional.

Picked this Hotel as a one night stop over travelling to Spain. What a find, our room overlooking the river was great The Hotel has no other restaurants near by so you need to book dinner. The dinner was fantastic and if I lived close I would eat here twice a week! Well worth a little detour to visit this special place.

En pleine nature, sorties 36 ou 37 de l’A10 au dessus de Bordeaux, une belle et confortable halte dans une grande Maison bourgeoise pleine de charme. Dans un ancien moulin, très joliment réhabilité, tout le confort et les prestation, d’un hôtel 4* élégant, entouré d’un grand jardin très arboré doté d’une belle piscine. Excellente table, service efficace et souriant, l’été sur grand balcon au dessus d’une petite rivière, L’ensemble est très romantique. Nous avons adoré cette belle et bonne Maison.

Cadre bucolique certes, mais pas digne d'un 4 étoiles. Les tarifs sont exorbitants par rapport aux prestations. Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées, vieillottes...expérience décevante. Petit dejeuner moyen.

-Extérieur : cadre très bucolique / très belle vue sur Ferme & Moulin / 2-3 animaux sympathiques (2 moutons & 1 cygne) / Parking gratuit juste devant -Intérieur : chambres très spacieuses & faciles d'accès (RDC) Lits larges et petit jardinet agréable Dommage que la propreté laisse un peu à désirer (poussière, robinets de la sdB entartrés), que l'hôtel soit mal insonorisé (on entendait les clients de la chambre d'à côté), et que la SdB soit difficile d'accès pour PMR (il suffirait d'ajouter 1 poignée dans la sdB et les WC), l'ensemble ne nous a pas semblé digne d'un 4**** -Accueil qui pourrait être plus chaleureux le soir (plus de chaleur le matin) -Pt déjeuner en terrasse très agréable mais boissons froides (on aurait dû nous proposer de les réchauffer)

Van een gerenomeerd cognachuis ontvingen we tip van dit hotel. Onze verwachtingen waren hoog. De plaatjes via meerdere bookings site zagen er veelbelovend uit, ook op *********** een rating van 8.8. Voor ons is het echter een grote deceptie geworden. Ondanks dat we ons geld kwijt waren, zijn we 1 dag eerder vertrokken of wellicht moet ik schrijven het hotel uitgevlucht. De geur binnen is verschrikkelijk. Het ruikt naar oude tafelkleedjes. Ze proberen dit te maskeren met geurstokjes, maar daar wordt het niet beter op. Geen oog dichtgedaan vanwege te harde en te kleine bedden. Het is een zwaar verouderd hotel, vergane glorie. Het personeel was vriendelijk, maar kon ons niet helpen. Communicatie verliep moeizaam vanwege taalbariere. Het restaurant kunnen we helaas ook niet aanbevelen. Het avondeten was niet slecht maar voor de prijs-kwaliteit hadden we veel meer verfijning verwacht. Het is werkelijk onbegrijpelijk en beschamend hoe ze voor een ontbijt 22 euro durven te vragen. Hier was niets vers te ontdekken. Kortom, bespaar je deze negatieve ervaring.

A une vingtaine de kms de l'autoroute, voici une belle étape sur la route des vacances. Un lieu plein de charme, un accueil très agréable et professionnel. De vastes chambres très confortables et calmes donnant sur une petite rivière (grand lit, grande salle de bain). Une très bonne table (privilégier si possible le repas sur la terrasse surplombant la rivière et le parc, avec ses animaux qui viennent vous rendre visite), avec un service très aimable. Nous avons découvert cette étape il y a quelques années et ne manquons pas d'y faire halte sur le chemin du sud-ouest.
