Very unfriendly personnel, fighted with customers. Room smelled like mold and was old fashioned. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. The hotel takes illeagal extra charges when paying with Visa. The place is bit remote from the river Mosel.

We stopped here for lunch after walking the trail to Burg Eltz (the trail head right by the Restaurant. The food was very good, we had the Pfifferlinge Schnitzel, Bauer Schnitzel, also, and a burger. All the food was very good, the burger was ups to par with our american standards and the schnitzels excellent. The gal that took our order seemed a bit put out by us needed some help with the menu. The server that brought our food was more friendly. Excellent presentation and we were able to eat outside as the weather was nice.

Wonderful traditional German kitchen in a stunning location, made for a very pleasant stop on a longer wonder around the woods near the equally stunning castle near by. Staff where polite and very helpful. Great place.

Maybe a bit of history. We were guests in this hotel just before the corona crisis, as we had also spent a few nights here the year before. After the first night I felt really sick and we decided to drive home, the bill for the entire stay, 3 nights, had already been paid and we did not discuss it. We still had 2 GUTSCHEINE in our pocket from this stay and were on the Moselle again this week. So we went to the above hotel and asked if we could exchange this GUTSCHEINE, being 2 bags of coffee and 2 pieces of cake. Apparently they heard thunder in Cologne and thought this was not possible, they asked what our room number was when we stayed here. Anyway, we have turned upright to avoid further discussions. There is one principle and that is, you can also digest what you paid for, when plays little role, unless there was a time limit on the GUTSCHEINE and that was not the case. So thanks to the patron's fantastic response, they won't see us anymore, be warned

Had me er niet zoveel van voorgesteld ivm bikerhotel echter was positief verrast. OK er ligt overal zeil op de vloer en dat is gehorig als er iemand langs loopt maar dat viel alleszins mee. Fijne grote kamer, schoon, goed onderhouden, goede matrassen en douche met stevige straal warm water. Heerlijk geslapen! De TV heeft maar 10 zenders echter de WiFi is erg goed. De lampjes op het nachtkastje hebben elk 2x USB, erg handig! Sfeervol eten in "de Schuur" waar het erg gezellig is en sfeervol verlicht. Het eten was erg lekker, vooral voor- en nagerecht. Het buffet was ook in orde echter de aardappelkroketjes waren al koud en ik had de laatste groenten (broccoli) terwijl ik toch op tijd (19uur) aan tafel ging. Blijkbaar moet je direct om 18uur aanschuiven om van het volledige buffet te kunnen genieten. Ontbijt is top, maar zonder croissants en cappuccino. Personeel is vriendelijk, ik ga er beslist weer terug. Nadeel voor de motorrrijders: geen overdekte stalling voor de motoren

Das Essen kann ich leider nicht bewerten, da wir 20 Minuten darauf gewartet haben die Karte zu bekommen und dann hungrig weiter gezogen sind. Das Restaurant war nur halb gefüllt und es waren genügend Kellner verfügbar. Wahrscheinlich hatte man keine Lust Geld zu verdienen!?

Das Hotel liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse, direkt am Wanderweg zur Burg Eltz. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind modern ausgestattet. Zum Hotel gehört auch eine Konditorei und ein Café. Das Frühstücks - und Abendbüffet sind super. Die Vorspeise und die Nachspeise werden am Tisch serviert . Die Weinberatung von der Moselweinkarte war kompetent und sehr freundlich. Einziger Nachteil: Mein Handy mit 1&1 hat dort keinen Empfang. Dafür wird mann dort dann auch nicht gestört. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Bezahlung mit meiner Kreditkarte hat gut funktioniert.

Das Landhotel liegt sehr ruhig und ist perfekt zum Enspannen. Die Küche vom Restaurant ist leider nur bis 20.00 Uhr abends geöffnet, was bei einer Ankunft um 19:00 Uhr sehr eng ist ! Das Restaurant schlisst um 22:00 Uhr, um 21:30 Uhr kann man kein Kaffee mehr verlangen da die Maschine geputzt und auch aus ist !! :( Um 22:00 Uhr werden dann die Tische geräumt und es wird dann sprürbar gemacht, das wir gehen sollen !! Die Zimmer sind sauber aber brauchen eine Erfrischung ! Das Frühstück war sehr gut !
