A semi short and sweet review. It’s five star and priced to be pretentious of course. That price point of significance comes with expectations. Of the room is not available at 3 for check in and you are asked to wait (we waited 45 minutes more) - at least offer water or a drink. It’s rude to keep people waiting at the price they are paying and not offer something while they graciously wait. Word to the wise, Massage was hit and miss. At the price paid which was extremely high, it can never be a miss. You must hire the best of the best. To pay 12000 Rubles for an hour massage - it must be an incredible experience. I felt like I was anywhere getting a very basic massage. Really disappointing. Don’t get a massage. And while my partner thought her massage therapist was of quality there was still mediocre aesthetic treatment during. Even the oil is just so so. St. Regis lives on reputation these days in finding and seating on its laurels of yesteryear. This establishment is no different. Pretentious without enough fabulous.

Expectations were higher for a 5-star hotel in the very center of Moscow. We are familiar with the St. Regis chain, but we have never been to Moscow. The staff is far from being the most tactful (at breakfast, they reminded us about the end time, looking us in the mouth; at the reception they made a mistake in the write-offs, they explained only after we personally approached the counter a second time), a terrible smell of "dog" from the carpets in the corridors, TVs from the reign of Tsar Pea (as if in 2024 they can already be replaced with smart TV). Expectations were not met :)

An old hotel near Red Square, not very good, but not bad either. Sanctioned, no way. But in terms of location, a big city might be better.

The service concept is very poor. Room 206 does not have air conditioning. We negotiated from the afternoon to 12 o'clock in the morning but it was not resolved. Finally, I was forced to lose my temper before they were willing to send someone up to change the room. I am also drunk with the level of St. Regis. I will go there directly when I come to Moscow next time.

The lobby is very nice. The room is small but the bathroom is not small. The security guard at the door looks awesome.

1. I booked a small suite. My wife took a shower at night and I found that the water was yellow. I asked her to come out immediately and called someone to take a look. The water was still yellow after leaving it for more than ten minutes. I was told to wait for another half hour. Wait and see, I got angry and asked him to contact the manager immediately and asked him to change rooms. At first, they told me that they had no room, so I called them again and asked them to contact the manager to change rooms. It took about an hour. My wife's hair was wet, and I wrapped myself in a bath towel and moved from the 6th floor to the 3rd floor in embarrassment. Later I found that it was larger than the previous small suite. So those who had a room at the beginning were unwilling to change, but it was already one o'clock in the morning... 2. After changing rooms, we wanted to store the fresh milk we bought and found that the small refrigerator was locked. I called the front desk and was told that a deposit of 2,000 rubles was required to open the refrigerator. I said that I would not drink the things covered by the insurance and only needed to store them. She said it was okay for what I bought, and I accepted the deposit request. After a while, a young man came and said that a deposit of 3,000 rubles was required. I told the front desk that the deposit was 2,000, and he said that I heard wrong. I also asked him why there is a deposit for the hotel refrigerator here, and he said that if I did not drink the refrigerator The deposit will be refunded when I check out the items in it. I gave him the deposit and asked for the receipt, but he said he didn't have it... Later, a young man came and took a bag and took away all the items in the refrigerator, and I was able to store them. Several bottles of fresh milk worth several hundred rubles, and then when checking out, they told me that I heard wrongly, 3000 rubles was for opening the refrigerator! ! And there is no receipt, just kill me with a smile! I spent 10 minutes insisting on asking for the receipt and contacting Ctrip. Of course, it was useless. There was a refrigerator fee! I just heard it wrong! I store 300 rubles of milk for 3000 rubles! I heard him wrong! ? ! In the end, Ctrip gave me a 120 coupon. I personally feel that Ctrip did not do enough. This is not a question of money, but of platform supervision and compatriots who have been discriminated against and ripped off and cannot give in... But at that time, I was on an ant In the market, it was minus 10 degrees Celsius and my hands were so cold that I could not answer the phone. I just wanted to end it as soon as possible. 3. The Russians in the hotel are not enthusiastic, or even cold, but a few Central Asian employees working there are more enthusiastic. It’s not just the hotel either. From entering to exiting the customs, I met many Russians who were impatient with us, including the old lady selling ice cream. At first, I saw that she was patiently explaining to the people in front of me. When we arrived, we didn’t speak. , before she started translating, we had a conversation there. I picked a flavor at random and said I wanted to find one. She started to speak Russian impatiently on the other side again, and the person next to me pointed at the price and told me the price. I just realized that she asked for money first and then gave me the ice cream. I was a little angry. As soon as I put the money on the plate and took the ice cream, I stood on the edge and stared at the person behind me, but her face didn't turn red and her heart didn't beat. Waiting for the next person to explain patiently, it is really blatant discrimination. I bought a translator worth 5,000 yuan, but I didn’t get a chance to use it! By the way, I bought ice cream twice, and the old lady at the other stall was very patient and even brought out a Chinese menu, but there was another one... 3. The hotel doesn’t provide enough toiletries every day. You don’t care whether I use them or not. After I clear the table, you should put them according to the guest room linen requirements. How can a St. Regis hotel that costs nearly 2,000 yuan a night have this kind of structure and management? The floor mat next to the bed is also missing day by day. Once I tried to leave a tip of 200 rubles, and it was handled well. However, I had already asked the local international students before coming here. This is not a tipping country. There is no need to tip, including when eating and paying the bill. The waiter took it. A handwritten note (RECOMMEND 10% TIP), but when I asked for change, the tip was compulsorily collected. After carefully looking at the local diners around me, I didn’t see the waiter take out the small piece of paper... I will give what is due, but Just for us or other foreigners, I bought one last year ⌚️ (Believe me, except for the Central Asians who come to work, I almost only see Chinese people, so if you don’t kill the Chinese, who will you kill?) 4. I didn’t expect the Sino-Russian friendship to bring me any benefits. I just wanted it to be fair and reasonable, but I’m still disappointed! Except the BBQ didn't disappoint. Facilities: It's relatively old, but it's miles away from Regis in China... Hygiene: The water for changing rooms is bright yellow, but other things are fine Environment: Very close to Red Square and just outside the subway Service: Discrimination, customer rip-off, and extremely inefficient

What's the standard of the hotel? It's high-end. The room is big. The swimming pool is very good. The location of the hotel is very good. It's good to go shopping on the street at night. I like the roof of the hotel lobby.
