This 3 star hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Super Morzine cable car and also the petit train stop that takes you to the Pleney cable car - handy if you are in ski boots. You can walk direct to the Pleney in 10 minutes. The breakfast is very comprehensive and top quality - yoghurt, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, cold cheeses and meats, pastries, jam, cooked options including eggs, bacon, beans - and of course amazing French baguettes. If you are on half board the dinners are even better! One evening in the week includes a choice of alpine specialties - fondue, tartiflette, etc - all top quality. The bar prices are reasonable, good selection of wine. The swimming pool is the warmest we have encountered in France for many years. Rooms have plenty of storage space even for 7 days skiing & are comfortable- some have great views from the balcony doors/windows. The service from Christophe, Nadege and their team is warm and friendly- and the kitchen crew are very talented! Highly recommended. (The Caribou 2 ski hire shop is 5 minutes away by the petit train stop & Super Morzine lift.)

We have just spent a short break in this lovely hotel in an ideal location close to the village and slopes. All areas are spotlessly clean and the staff are welcoming and attentive. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Excellent hotel in an ideal location. Easy walking distance to either Pleny or SuoerMorzine bubbles for skiing. Good sized heated boot and ski room. Pool great and warm with changing and shower facilities. Breakfast had a good selection if hot and cold food and the staff were very friendly throughout stay.

Not a good choice and would avoid if possible. It was the only one with some availability and I can understand why: breakfast very poor (not even fruits), dinner is 4 starters and 4 main courses (so you better stay less than 4 nights and like everything), dinner closes at 8:30pm, bar is tinny, hotel manager is arrogant, pool is ugly and opens 3 hours, rooms are ugly.

Had a great stay at Hotel Alpen Roc with my 2 sons for a three night skiing/boarding trip. Hotel was ideal for us, good size room, 3 single beds and bunk beds if we needed. Hotel did airport transfers which worked fine and were reasonably priced. We did half board, food was amazing, and great value which again suited us. Breakfast had good selection of hot and cold food and set us up for the day. The service in the hotel from everyone was friendly and helpful, and we were able to leave our bags on the first day, get changed, get lift passes at reception and hit the slopes for an afternoon before our room was ready. Would definitely go go back. Merci bien

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Alpen Roc. We were part of a bigger group (four families in total) and we all thought the hotel was great. Alpen Roc is well situated - a 5-10 min walk to the ski hire shop and Pleney lift and in a peaceful part of town. The manager and staff were all very helpful and friendly and understanding when it came to the (often very noisy!) children at mealtimes. The family room we had (Room 1) was great as the children had a separate room off ours and it was situated right by the reception and restaurant meaning we could put them to bed and not worry. The food surpassed our expectation - all really delicious. We all enjoyed the the pool and jacuzzi at the end of each day. Not a big fan of the long pillow style but that's about the only criticism I can think of!

Hôtel dans une petite rue au calme à 5mn à pied de centre ville; épiceries Spar et Sherpa à côté . Accueil amical, chambres calmes avec balcon et piscine + jacuzzi en extérieur semi couverts Et le restaurant est un VRAI restaurant avec plats cuisinés, menu du jour copieux et renouvelé chaque jour ; à notre avis le meilleur vrai restaurant de Morzine (pas de raclette tartiflette grillade charcuteries burger que l’on trouve partout…) Le couple propriétaire est toujours disponible avec le sourire Allez y sans hésiter

Un établissement typiquement Savoyard tenu par un couple de gérants très professionnels. La jeune équipe mise en place très récemment fait preuve de dynamisme et est à l'écoute permanente des clients. L'hôtel est très bien situé, proche du centre-ville, les chambres sont très confortables et un espace détente composé d'une piscine chauffée, couverte ainsi qu'un jacuzzi viennent agrémenter votre séjour. Le petit-déjeuner est complet, rien ne manque ! Côté cuisine rien à redire, les plats proposés sont excellents et variés...Un local à ski ainsi qu'un parking extérieur sont mis gratuitement à disposition pour la clientèle. Tout y est, rien ne manque et la gentillesse des responsables me fera revenir avec grand plaisir !!!
