OYO Hotel Morton East Peoria I-74

RUN.. Do not walk away...RUN !! This place had police raid rooms and had people selling or doing Meth. This is NOT a family place and i would never stay here. A few miles away you can find clean, safe motels. AGAIN....Do Not stay here!!! I have lived in this town all my life..trust me..go somewhere else.

I have spent thousands of nights in hotels across the country. I have seen the good, bad, and ugly out there, but this place is THE NASTIEST! The only good thing to say about it is the guy at the front desk is very friendly. Beyond that, this place is a third world country. When you walk in you will notice disgusting furniture in the lobby. My room had cockroaches crawling on the walls and baby cockroaches were everywhere. There were mystery stains on the towels, it looked like it could have been blood. I didn't even want to shower in the bathroom because it felt so unsanitary. Also safety is not a thing at this hotel. None of the side doors were locked and anyone can just come in. The room looked absolutely nothing like the picture, not even close. I had booked the one week stay and I only stayed two nights. I only stayed the second night because of a snow storm or I would have left much sooner. I went to another hotel that was much cleaner. I was also the only one here that didn't seem like they were a resident of the place. This is not for tourists.

Very reasonable price. Lobby and hallways were dirty, but the room I stayed in was pretty decent. It had cable television, air conditioning, heat, clean towels and bathroom. Movie theater was 1 block away, Casey's gas station/food mart was right across the street. I would definitely stay there again, the price is a winner!
