XQ El Palacete

The location of hotel appeals to us both we both enjoy cycling, running and walking around this area. This was our second visit and we were amazed at all the staff still there and the fact they remained happy in their employment. The management are always available for contact should you have any issues and they will correct any problems you may incur. I would advise to take the premium upgrade to experience breakfast on the outside deck which on a sunny sunrise morning definitely takes some beating. The buffets served over the festive period on the special evenings were delightful and presented in such a professional manor I have a food allergy and all my no go areas were well documented and no doubts were assured for me to eat without concern. Food staff location will always be a big draw for this boutique venue to be successful staff to mention Sarah, Susan, Juan, Hassan, Andreas, Roseann,housemaids, chefs and kitchen staff. We enjoyed seeing you all again and I apologise if I’ve missed any off the list. Good luck for 2025 keep up the amazing work you all put into to daily routines. Also returning guests year on year is a very positive statement and we will definitely return again and truly appreciate your hospitality given over Christmas & New Year’s.

We keep coming back to El Palacete. We love the location right on the beach, the laid back vibe and the attentive service. The team at the hotel make this place - special thanks to Rosa, Sara, Esther, Kika, Hassan & Pablo who looked after us so well. We last visited 18 months ago and incredibly Esther remembered our drinks order for dinner from all that time ago! I always want ice with my wine and every night a small bucket of ice was on the table waiting for me - small things make a huge difference. A small hotel with a big heart - we will be back next year!

Second visit to this lovely hotel, everything was perfect, fantastic location , great food and friendly and very helpful staff. The view from your room balcony are stunning . Every part of the hotel is clean , the only small criticism is I would love tea making facilities in my room . Will definitely return.

I have never sent a trip advisor review before. We are elderly and have not been to Fuerteventura for along time. We had a lovely holiday everything was perfect . Reception was so helpful . There were no tea facilities in the room but we were supplied with kettle cups tea bags and fresh milk every day. We had a late flight home but were allowed to keep our room until 4 pm with no extra charge. However we were the only English people in the hotel. On arrival we were told there were 2 sittings for dinner 6 pm and 8pm.The 8 pm sitting was full! We ate about 6.30 pm but by 7.30pm the dining room was empty and the staff were busy setting up for the 8 pm sitting clearly wanting us to leave! Breakfast was 8 am no problem BUT we could not sit on the outside terrace as this was reserved for premium rooms ! None of this was explained to us by our Tour Operator TUI (I have complained to TUI)

Well … we stayed here last year and loved it. This year we have been put in a room that’s not as nice for the same price and had a very weird experience at dinner tonight. At this adult only hotel there at two sittings in the buffet restaurant - 6.30 - 7.30 and 8.00 - 9.00. We arrived around 7.10 and were quite rudely told we “were late”. We apologised and said we would be finished by 7.30. There was one other elderly couple sitting inside and others outside with about 10 free tables outside. We asked to sit outside and were told we couldn’t as they “were all taken” and we were told we had to sit inside. This was nuts - if we were late how late were the others who had the tables outside before the next sitting?? Needless to say no one came to the outside tables and it was a bizarre start to a hotel we love - we felt unwelcome and “punished” and not sure if it is because we are British in a mainly German hotel but when I went to question how it worked with Luc at reception me tried to reason it away and then just said upstairs they deal with the rooms and had nothing to do with tables . The hotel restaurant was almost empty and this made no sense at all - fingers crossed we will have a better experience tomorrow night. One another note there also seems to be families with “older children” with them in this adults only hotel. We loved this hotel last year …

It was the most amazing vacation ever :) hotel, food, beach, staff, clealiness.. everything at the highest level. Definitely we will come back soon. Thanks for all the lovely details we are lack in huge hotels. Location is the best in the southern side of island.
