Great location but beach access not as easy as it could be, the room was nicely furnished and modern, we upgraded to a sea view at a considerable extra cost but ended up with an intermittently noisy air conditioning unit above us ( room 1305) , not always a problem though . The food was good and lots to choose from although it wasn't always hot, great staff in the restaurant, Alex a really nice guy, Ben and Gustavo too, one gripe with the restaurant is long trousers only rule, many wearing tracksuit bottoms to comply, smart shorts look far better in my opinion, and where's the equality ? The pool area was very quiet and spacious, maybe some background music would improve the atmosphere. The evening entertainment was varied and overall very good, however Robert and Juliet were on almost every other day and while the other artists addressed the audience in German, English and Spanish, Robert only spoke German, somewhat excluding us Brits. I would recommend the hotel, as well as the neighbouring Calypso. The resort is lovely.

This was our second visit to this hotel and it was just as good as the first. The positives: Very warm welcome from the reception staff and a much appreciated glass of fizz after a long journey. Room in a great location, very clean, with an amazing view, thank you. Pool area spotless, location to beach perfect. Restaurant meals good quality, always plenty to choose from. All the staff, including reception, housekeeping, pool bar or restaurant, were so friendly and accommodating, thank you everyone. The only negative, drinking water could be provided at the evening meal, it is provided at breakfast but not in the evening, you have to pay for it, apart from the obvious reason, I'm not sure why they do this. In summary, a great hotel to relax and unwind, already looking forward to returning.

We stayed at the Riu from the 5th - 15th February, this was our 7th stay there. As usual the welcome from the reception team was friendly and helpful, in fact all the staff are friendly and always willing to assist. The hotel itself was refurbished during the Covid period, so it doesn’t look tired. The cleanliness is always spot on. The gym is modern and well equipped and the swimming is adequate for the size of the hotel and never over crowded. The bedrooms are well equipped and comfortable, my only gripe would be for additional space to be left in the minibar for your own drinks, as minibars are always expensive. The overall quality of the food at breakfast and dinner is good, although perhaps the quality has slightly diminished over the years. I would also prefer a bed and breakfast option, as my partner often skipped dinner, preferring to have lunch out instead. We also had 10 glorious days of warm sunshine, so that definitely helped, but it’s worth pointing out that there is a bit of a climb to reach the beach, although the lift at the back of the hotel cuts out quite a few steps. Definitely still a hotel I’d recommend for couples, as it doesn’t tend to attract to many families with young children, as there isn’t a great deal at the hotel for children.

We are currently staying at this hotel. It has exceeded our expectations. The room is excellent with superb views of Jandia beach. The food quality and choice are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful - ready to the extra mile to please. We have stayed at a number of 4 and 5 star hotels in the last few years and this one is by far the best.

We have been staying at the Riu Palace Jandia for the last eight years so that says a lot about it. However it is not for everyone as there are a lot of steps throughout the hotel. As with most Riu hotels the staff and service are first rate. Possibly the only downside is the buffet restaurant - sometimes difficult to get freshly cooked hot food - but generally it is OK

Stayed a week in a sea view room right next to the beach access area. Lovely room, big shower and balcony. Comfy bed. Food choice for buffet breakfast and evenings good. Pool area stunning. Lots of sun loungers. Pool bar good value for a hotel. Serves snacks until 5.30pm. Tried their Krystal restaurant but didn’t think it was very good, not enough flavour for a la carte. Didn’t go in the spa or gym so can’t comment. Hotel entertainment was aimed at the older crowd/German clientele. The hotel is great if you want to hang out in a quiet resort and not do much else. The shopping area hasn’t got many bars or restaurants so Morro Jable is the place to head but it was really quiet when we went. Would probably risk it and stay nearer to Correlejo next time as will have more going on in the day and night

We have stayed here many times. We love the location but it is the fabulous staff which make this place so good.

We stayed here for fourteen days. We had booked a room with a limited sea view but were given a room with a large wall instead (see photo of room 1006). We immediately contacted the reception. We were poorly treated by a lady at the reception who referred our case to the hotel manager. He was sitting behind his desk in clear view, but instead of handling our issue, he started checking in a new guest who arrived after us. We had to wait a very long time to speak with him while the receptionist stood idly by. It was a very disappointing start to the holiday. Aside from these two individuals, the rest of the hotel staff were incredibly service-oriented. Everyone from the pool bar to the dining area was fantastic. The food was excellent with plenty of variety, and we enjoyed it every day. The beds were comfortable, and the room was nice. The cleaning was impeccable and done daily. The pool area was pleasant, with an incredible view of the sea. It is said to be 50 meters to the beach, but it feels farther. You have to take many stairs, plus an elevator, plus more stairs to get from the hotel to the beach. There are many underground passageways. From the reception, you can also access the beach, but even there, there is a very long staircase. There was live entertainment every evening for those who enjoy pop music. The beach outside the hotel is incredibly beautiful, long, and wide.
