"The newly opened room is very big, clean and tidy. It is very rainy and I like it! There is nothing around it. It is very remote. There is no place to eat around the hotel. The beach is opposite the hotel. The scenery is beautiful. It is just that it is surrounded by fog for a long time. You can't see the sunrise in the morning."
"We took the family room with three rooms all of them overlooking the sea and with a separate kitchen. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a fantastic location just at the docks! They offered a coffee and OK pastieries for breakfast, but the store was nearby and we could buy exactly what we wanted!"
"There is a balcony where you can sit on chairs and watch the scenery. Close to the seaside. Breakfast was great. Very close to morro bay. Parking is free. The service is particularly warm. The free fruits and yogurt are very good."
"The hotel is very close to the sea, but it is still a bit far to go to Morro. Need to drive. But it is also a ten minute drive. Morro Bay is very foggy in the morning and the beach is beautiful. Many birds and shells. There is also a sub-item, the boss is a Taiwanese, and Mandarin communication is barrier-free. . . ."
"Okay, the hotels in the town don't have too much expectation, they are clean, very close to the beach. Sleeping at night, listening to the sea lions or the seals of the night, wonder if they don't sleep at night?"
"From the moment we arrived at the Masterpiece Hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room boasted a stunning view, and it was the perfect backdrop for relaxing after a day of exploring Morro Bay. The customer support was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always willing to go the extra mile.
Speaking of treats, the breakfast was a delightful surprise. Fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and the amazing make-your-own waffle station had us fueled up and ready to take on the day. The waffles were truly a highlight - fluffy, crispy, and customizable with an array of toppings. It was a fun and delicious way to start the morning.
Beyond the view, breakfast, and customer service, the overall experience at the Masterpiece Hotel was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, the public spaces were inviting, and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We truly felt we were staying in a masterpiece itself! If you're looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Morro Bay, look no further than the Masterpiece Hotel. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!"
"Super, quaint seaside inn... but with modern upgrades and pristine housekeeping! We stayed on the ground floor with fantastic views & and access to the bay, but not very private with shades up... OK, now, during the quiet off-season, but would book the second floor next time. Sarah was awesome. One slight negative... lighting in the bath was dim and ”yellow”... not great for retired eyes!"
"The location of the hotel is very good, you can see the beautiful sunrise and the beautiful sunset, the facilities in the room are also very good, so that we can have a good rest in the hotel during the trip, have the opportunity to live in 😋"
"Conveniently located with walking distance to the Morroy Bay waterfront with stunning view of Morro Rock. Clean, spacious and modern room with great bathroom amenities. Lots of breakfast / dining options nearby and great for a stay for families. Would love to visit again!"
"The room is quite big, the facilities should be there, the water in the bathroom is not big enough, it is said that the sea view room does not see the sea at all, the service desk is basically self-service, there are few service staff, no breakfast, you have to solve it yourself, okay There are many restaurants nearby, typical motels, sound insulation is not good, wooden structure, prices are still quite expensive, still a distance from the sea, there are many nearby hotels, you can try other hotels next time."
RRhonda BuckLarge, clean room. Nice location and able to walk to stores and restaurants. The only thing is I think the pet fee should be for the stay and not per night.
易易Booked this hotel temporarily, but it was an unexpected surprise on this journey. The hotel was a bit of an idea, but from the beginning of the reception, I felt that the owner was working very hard.
1. Parking is convenient and free.
2. Walk five minutes to the beach and one minute to the supermarket and fast food restaurant behind the hotel.
3. Each floor has a special reading area to provide local bird pictures to introduce local culture. There are also vending machines for drinks. I booked a room with a balcony. I could sit down and smoke and admire the sunset by the sea.
4. The front desk offers afternoon tea from 5 to 6 pm. Breakfast is on the third floor, the food is average, but on the terrace, you can overlook the waves and sails of the sea while breakfast, as well as the big rock.
5. I only booked one night, but found a coupon when I opened the door in the morning. It reads: Don't go so fast, give me a one-night fifty-six dollar discount and stay for another night, and enjoy the beauty and food here. If it hadn't been for my later itinerary, I would really like to stay another night and enjoy the tranquility of the town.
GGuest UserVery clean. Excellent location. Vicky at the front desk was very welcoming and attentive responding to all of our questions. We will come back without hesitation.
杨杨Quiet, a good town, you can see and hear seals near the beach, you can also make an appointment to go to the sea to watch whales, overall it is still very good, the lack of breakfast, the price is not cheap.
GGuest UserSo location is great, That's about the only thing great about it. The breakfast that's included is a coupon for a cinnamon roll next door. Yes just one cinnamon roll. No coffee.
The tools are outdated, The bed was small, not quite a queen size. It's alright...
GGuest UserBreakfast is very good, with children staying in the twin room, there is free parking, the surrounding environment is very good, suitable for living, just some distance from the attractions, no problem driving
AAnonymous UserBeautifully renovated inn with laid back charm and nice decor. The bathroom needs some upkeep, but overall a nice place to stay for a long weekend. Sound insulation can be a bit poor. Main lobby and reception is modern, large with view over the lagoon and the Morro rock.
GGuest UserWe only stayed for one night, but the person who checked us in and out was super nice and friendly. We also had accidentally left our watch behind in the room after our check-out and when we went back to pick it up, they had it for us at the front desk.
The rooms themselves were nice. They had only given us one towel though, when the room was booked for two adults. Small detail. The floor was a bit dirty, as when I tried walking barefoot after a shower or in between changing, my feet would pick up dirt. Cleanliness could have been improved. Beds were spring, so they made a bit of noise when you move around on them. And the walls were quite thin, so it was easy to hear folks outside our room. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay for one night for a really cheap rate.
XXIAOYONGThis suite is a bit of an accident, suite. Two large double beds. Microwaves and refrigerators are available. Just on the side of the road, but the sound insulation is still basically no outside noise. Next door is a big supermarket, convenient for shopping.
