Old looking hotel. Fresh paint would brighten up the hotel. Carpet thru out hotel especially in the hallways NEED TO BE PULLED UP and replaced or use hardwood flooring, carpet stinks!
Exit stairs vents need to be cleaned or NEW FILTERS, reeks of stale cigarette smoke. Anyone who walks off of the elevator via second or third floors is immediately greeted with an old, musty, stale ordor, causing your face frown!

I thought the staff were very attentive and the slight upcharge when I booked a king room was nothing compared to sleeping in a huge bed in a spacious room.
The constant sound of construction outside was pretty annoying, but that's a city thing. I am sure one day soon it won't be there any more.
Less than a block to Waffle House, which I haven't had in forever, and it was a great late night snack.

The room is really nice for the price and the shuttle driver and front desk agent were great! Great value for the money! The only negative was the thin walls, I could hear my neighbor's TV all night.

Noisy with construction going on. Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. When another door slammed closed it shook our entire room. The sheer drapes on the window were ripped and torn, can't believe they would leave them in such condition. There was a constant periodic banging sound coming from the bathroom, sounded like a plumbing issue inside the wall. The cold water barely trickled out of the faucet.
