Moloka'i Morotai by Sahid

South Morotai|2.53km from Museum Trikora
This is my second and third stay at Hotel Molokai, the first was in March 2020. There have been many improvements such as increasing the number of rooms and building elevators also swimming pools. However, there are few things that the staff should be aware of: 1. I stayed for 3 days and 1 day, during the first third day my room was rarely cleaned and I didn't get new toiletries every day, unless I asked for it. The staff simply tidied up the bed covers and blankets (without replacing them, because from when I checked-in there were stains on them) and only put the towels on bed. Meanwhile, they never cleaned the bathroom at room service because the didn't clean the used bathroom toiletries. I couldn't clean up the trash because there was no trash can in the room. That's obviously for sure that room service is careless about hygine. 2. Lots of mosquitoes in the room and dust scattered in the corner of the room; I had complained to the receptionist but there was no action, only ”well, we will clean it later during room service”. But until I checkout, the mosquitoes were still there and the dust in the corner of the room was still scattered. 3. Breakfast was less variety. Every day provided only 1 type of carbohydrate, 1 type of protein, 1 type of vegetable, 1 type of additional side dish, and a maximum of 2 type of fruit. There was a soup stand but it was always empty. And at every breakfast I rarely saw mineral water, there was only hideous ”orange juice”. Fortunately, sometimes there were coffee and tea. 4. Food order service is not available (Is there? I don't know, there was no menu in the room). 5. Staff did not pay attention to health protocols (many of them did not wear mask). 6. NEVER TURN TWO SINGLE BEDS INTO A QUEEN BED. (sigh) What's good about staying at Molokai Hotel were: 1. Sea view from the swimming pool (the room view that I got from the 3 times staying was resident's houses and the ferry port). 2. It is still the best hotel on Morotai Island till now. 3. The business package is quite good. 4. There is already an electricity generator. 5. Near ferry port and Army Dock beach. 6. Even though breakfast is less varied, it tastes pretty good. Regardless of the drawbacks, I would choose this hotel as the best Hotel on Morotai Island.
