Coralview Beach Resort

Stayed 3D/2N during the long holiday in October. Unfortunately, typhoon “Paeng” (International codename: Nalgae) was crossing Luzon Island heading to West Philippine Sea during that time. Beach access was prohibited due to typhoon so we just stayed in our room most of the time. Quadroom has simple amenities. No small fridge and no cabinets to put your stuffs. In room TV has limited channel so don’t expect much. Intermittent Power failure encountered during our stay but they do have a standby generator in place, though you have to wait awhile for the power to be back in. There’s s no in room wifi and signal is weak for both Globe and Smart in the Quadroom building despite bringing my own personal wifi. Only strong wifi signal is in their restaurant. Bringing In of food is prohibited and they do charge corkage fee if you’re bringing one. Food choices in their menu is limited but taste is ok and reasonably priced. Budget for 4 pax will cost between ₱1,000-₱1,500 depending on your order per meal. For breakfast, I find it too pricey given it’s just the standard “silog” plated meals. Breakfast cost around ₱187/plate per person. On our last night, the roof beside the building of our room is almost blown off by the wind which caused unbearable sound as it is being smashed by the wind which make it difficult to sleep due to the smashing sound. Have not for the typhoon our stay could have been better - Perhaps next time.

I will surely go back here along with my family. We have been here before pandemic and this is one of the resorts I will surely go back to everytime we go Northbound. This is great for vacation, company outing and what I love is it has a small pool near the suites where you can stay for a day or so.
Brizo Hotel and Beach Resort

The staff were awesome. They are very accommodating and they respond quickly to your request without any hesitation. The room is below average. TV is not working, your phone signal might not work on some parts of the room, their Wi-Fi will inly work on common areas (so it will not reach your room) and the shower door is somewhat broken. Amenities are average. Well there is only one pool (2ft - 5ft). You need to make an advance order on their restaurant because they buy it fresh from the marketplace but the food that they serve is good. The place is so peaceful during the weekdays. There are trashes on some parts of the beach but tolerable. Kids can dip on the beach the waves are crawling gently to the shore. The price is just right. Overall it was very good. I guess the hospitality of the staff and the beach made it worth our time.

Brisa Marina Beach Resort powered by Cocotel

This Resort doesn't live up to the information about it on the Internet. Our family turned up to be greeted by 3 or 4 house dogs. Was showed to the Family Room where the Air-con was not working well and we had a 2 mount old, a 70 year old with mobility issue, the Family Room was on the 3rd Floor, there was no lift for the 4 floors ( not mentioned on the internet). The door locks where hard to use and close, the bathroom had paint peeling from the ceiling and was not very clean We could not stay there and had to find other accommodation. We asked at the desk about a refund and was told to email Cocotel, to date we have sent 6 or more emails to Cocotel about our issues and refund and have had no response at all which we feel is unacceptable. We will never stay there again or any place powered by Cocotel.
Miami Heat Beach Resort

Let me start with, if you are not fuzzy and sensitive to bed set up, you'll be fine here. Miami Beach Resort's advantages are the pools and swimmable beach. The beach has gray sand but it is fine and not rocky. Few plastic cups and garbages on the sand but not so much. Kids enjoyed building sand castles. I like the beach because it goes chest deep of an average adult unlike the beaches in Calatagan and Laiya that are ankle high. The water is not itchy. No jelly fish and sea urchin so far. Early morning lots of vendors flock at the beach to sell souvenirs, taho, pearls, and dried fish. It was fine with us since it is supporting the local's livelihood. They are polite and not insistent too. The pools are strategically scattered across the resort. The staff were overwhelmed with the number of guests since it was holy week and super peak. Food at the resto took time to arrive and yes they are pricey. Free hot and cold water at the resto. Pack your noodles or 3in1 coffee. Chips and water are allowed but rice food and viand have corkage fee. We went out of the resort to scout other eating venues. Wifi is only available at the resto. I slipped on the tiles and had a minor accident but I was rushed to the nearest medical facility of the municipality. I sprained my wrist. The staff assisted me to the best that they can. They added nonslip matting after my incident. The beds in the loft room are foams on the floor with thin bed sheets and thin blankets. Points to improve on will be adding hooks and soap dish cranny at the room's bathroom. It was yucky to place your soap on a sandy bath floor. There are no hooks to hang your towel and dry clothes. I hope the management will heed these recommendations.
