I booked it because it is the flattest one in Morioka. Sure enough, you get what you pay for. The bed is small and the TV is small. The bathroom is small and clean. The most interesting thing is the flush toilet. It is currently the most versatile toilet in Japanese hotels. Haha, you can play for an hour!
The hotel is located at the west exit of the pedestrian bridge, which is about 5 minutes away. However, there is almost nothing to see in the hotel. If you want to eat, buy and visit attractions, you must go to the north exit.

The hotel is in a very good location. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the JR station to the hotel. It is only one intersection away from the pedestrian street. The hotel can be seen that it was built earlier, but it is well maintained.

I didn't notice when booking that the first night was a smoking room. The smoke woke me up halfway through the night. I felt better after opening the window. I felt like I was being marinated. There were still ants on the mattress when I checked out.

My stay at Hotel Jin in Morioka was very satisfying. First of all, the breakfast was very delicious. Many of the dishes were made with local ingredients, so I was able to enjoy fresh and delicious food. The Japanese food selection was particularly rich, so it was nice to be able to have a hearty meal in the morning. However, the overall variety was limited, so if you stay for several nights, you may get a little bored.
In addition, the spirit of hospitality was felt everywhere. The staff were very kind, and I had a pleasant time from check-in to check-out. My questions and requests were answered quickly and politely, so I felt at ease during my stay.
In addition, Hotel Jin offers very good value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the facilities are well-equipped. I don't think you'll find a hotel that offers this much service and comfort at this price range.
Overall, Hotel Jin is a hotel that is attractive for its delicious breakfast, hospitality, and excellent cost performance. I would definitely use it again when I visit Morioka.

In front of Morioka Station. This time I only stayed for a short time, but it was enough and I was very satisfied. The free breakfast is as good as ever. I was happy that there were two types of slippers (disposable for indoor use and for use in the building). The front desk staff were quick but cheerful, which made me feel cheerful even though I checked in late at night.

It was a ryokan with a very calming atmosphere.
The landlady and staff greeted us cheerfully. When we passed each other in the hallway, they greeted us with a smile, which made us feel very comfortable and we were able to spend a wonderful time there.
The interior and facilities in the room were a little old, but they didn't seem dirty or broken, and there was no noticeable smell.
And above all, the hot spring was great. I think the hot spring is soft and feels good on the skin. The view was also great, so you could look at it forever. Personally, I was worried about the bugs (horses) in the open-air bath, which is like being in the middle of a forest, but I was relieved to see that there was insecticide available.
We only had breakfast, but it was delicious, with dishes made from Iwate-grown hitomebore apples and wild vegetables.
It's a place I'd like to visit again someday.

It's a bit far from the train station, more than 20 minutes walk. But it's close to major attractions such as Morioka Castle Park and Iwate Bank. There are several unique restaurants around. The alley opposite is the customs street, which is safe. The English of the hotel front desk is a little poor, and it's a bit difficult to communicate, but they are very patient and will help you solve all problems in the end.

GGuest UserThe experience was superb! The onsen was good and relaxing. I love that they provide yogurt drink and ice lolly. There is also complimentary soba noodles at 9:30pm. What is more important is that they have free laundry and that the status of the machines can be viewed on TV!

Hotel service has many unexpected surprises! When I knew that I asked Hirosaki Park to see the cherry blossoms, they provided me with a detailed paper travel guide early the next morning, which was very touching!

GGuest UserAt first, I was told that the front desk did not have a reservation name, and I had a difficulty in the front desk skills, such as showing the reservation screen of Trip.com and finally having them find it, but the hot springs were also wonderful, and above all, the food was wonderful. Great, I was very satisfied. I definitely want to use it for the next year's end of the year and the beginning of the year.

It's old, but the overall maintenance is OK. The sanitation is clean and the front desk can communicate in basic English.

The elevator goes up to the lobby on the third floor. The old corridor of the hotel is very dark. The room was not very clean, there was dirt on the carpet and bathtub, and only sheets were changed for the bedding. A small old-style TV, the countertop is too thin to put anything on it, and the bathroom is also very narrow and you can touch it when you turn around. The clerk didn't say much, so he just threw the key on the counter to me. I don't feel comfortable overall.

The man at the reception had a very nice smile.
However, the cost performance is excellent, so I will continue to use it.
