Clean and relaxing onsen hotels with 4 onsen pools to try.

At first, I was told that the front desk didn't have a name for the reservation, so I had to show them the Trip.com reservation screen and they finally found it.However, the hot springs were wonderful, and the food was excellent, so I was very satisfied. was. I would definitely like to use it again during the next year-end and New Year holidays.

The lake scenery is as far as the eye can see

Lake Gosho spreads out across the window, and just that alone fills your heart with an extraordinary feeling. The facilities, hot water, and food were refreshing enough.

The environment is quiet, the staff have good service attitude, and the food for dinner is of good quality. Suitable for family vacation travel, the hotel has sufficient facilities. The traffic is a bit inconvenient, so it is only suitable to travel by car.

The hotel is very large, right by the lake facing Mount Iwate. It has two hot springs. The included breakfast and dinner are semi-buffet, which is also very good!

A very nice hotel outside the city of Morioka with a stunning view to the river and the mountains. The hotel offers traditional Japanese rooms where you sleep on madrasses on the floor and a very traditional onsen bath with hot water from a hot spring. If you are in the area, I recommend a stay at this hotel and the full experience try a Japanese room.

I stayed here on a 2-night, 3-day free tour run by a travel agency. It was a simple tour with a bullet train and accommodation. It also included a round-trip shuttle from Morioka Station to the hotel, which is currently 200 yen one way. However, on the second day, it cost 200 yen one way to take the shuttle bus to Morioka city. There is only one bus leaving Morioka Station at 3pm, so if you want to play a little more, you can take a local bus, which costs 630 yen from Morioka Station. This local bus takes about 35 minutes, passing through Aeon Mall and Morioka Handicraft Village. It is about a 15-minute walk from the end of the line, Tsunagi Onsen, to the hotel, but if you call after arriving, they will come to pick you up. This is free. The hotel entrance is on the second floor, but there is a large lobby with a view of Lake Gosho spread out in front of you. Here, depending on the season, Sansa Odori is held every night from 8:15 pm for 25 minutes. The preservation society changes every day, so the dances and drums are different, so it is fun to watch every night and it is very impressive. From 3pm, you can enjoy welcome drinks such as coffee, tea, orange juice, and popsicles in the lobby. There is also an ice vendor, so you can drink in your room. There is a large hot spring bath on the third floor, which is also good, but the Nanbu Magariya bath on the second floor was better. It is open from 5am to 10pm, and you can enjoy two types of baths on a daily basis. The architecture is also wonderful. Meals were included in the tour, and both nights were different and very delicious. Breakfast is a buffet, but there are many locally produced dishes (Hittsumi soup, Morioka soba, Jajamen, etc.). All rooms have a lake view, but the upper floors seem to be better. There is a 12-tatami Japanese-style room with a 3-tatami chair and table space by the window. There is a separate toilet and a large sink, and there is also a room bath, but I did not use it because there is a hot spring.

Who would have thought there would be such a hot spring so close to Morioka?! The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hot springs are carefully selected and the temperature is high, but the temperature is reduced to make bathing easier. The temperature was very comfortable to soak in. It feels very soft and mysterious. There are two baths with different themes: Hitorijime no Yu and Nanbu Magariya no Yu. The only disappointment was that you couldn't take a bath between 1am and 5am. The COVID-19 countermeasures were also perfect, so I felt safe during my stay. I would like to use this hotel again when I go to Morioka.
