The inn and facilities are very good, the old good aspect and the recent activities are fused, there is nostalgia, newness, and adults and children can enjoy it. However, I thought I wanted a one day pass because the ticket fee was more expensive than I thought or the ticket was halfway. I stayed for 2 nights again, but the meal was almost the same and I was a little tired. It was a pity that there was only water in the dining room when I had dinner. I wanted about wheat tea. My first Japanese hotel experience did not disappoint! This is a hotel that most tourists from outside of Japan might never visit but it appears very popular with Japanese tourists visiting the Onuma/Hakodate area. I highly recommend it if wanting to be close to Onuma lake /park with beautiful views of Koma-ga-take volcano/mountain from the dining facility and also from many of the rooms. We were there in the lush summer but I imagine in the winter it is just as beautiful. Given that it is largely Japanese guests, English was challenging at times and the breakfast buffet is mainly Japanese oriented - with some cereal/toast/pastries/fruit if Japanese cuisine isn’t your preference for breakfast - but delicious. Even without English, service was great throughout the hotel. The staff looked after our conference and attendees very well. Rooms are clean, quiet and peaceful. Conference attendees raved about the indoor/outdoor onsen and also enjoyed walking the grounds. If you want nature, peace, quiet, good service you will enjoy this hotel very much. Having a car will help but there is also hourly shuttle service to the train station.

I chose it because it is called ”hot spring where you can travel in Hokkaido by Shinkansen”. It was an online reservation, but I received a confirmation call such as the room on the ２ floor without an elevator and the room with only a shower. At that time, I was able to make a reservation for a private bath. A few days before my stay, I received an email from the manager and a call to decide dinner time. The hotel can be seen from Onuma Station. Walk ５ minutes. When you enter the front desk, you will find a nice atmosphere like an overseas resort. You can drink coffee and tea, and there is a bar lounge (with time limit) to relax. Even adults can enjoy the railway diorama and railway goods in the lounge. There were various customers such as couples, couples, and families. The room was the smallest room, but the interior was devised and functional and I didn't feel much narrowness. I was worried that the room with only a shower and the large communal bath were open-air baths, but it was not colder than I expected because of the good weather. When you try to find a place to stay for the purpose of hot springs, the elements of Japanese will inevitably become stronger, which is also attractive. However, it was a very satisfying trip that sometimes seemed to be good for hot springs like Epi and good inn like children in resort hotels. This time it was a relaxing trip to enjoy the snowy scenery, but I would like to revisit Epi to look forward to cycling and walking in different seasons. It was a trip that noticed the goodness of southern Hokkaido.

Very clean hotel! The bed was very hard and comfortable, so I liked it. Wi-Fi is also available in each room, which is really good! The staff were kind and very nice. The curry and rice at the service at night was also very delicious. The free morning rice was also very delicious. If I have a chance to come here, I would like to stay again! The price is also cheap! However, there were no restaurants in the area that could be reached on foot, so I expect it in the future! it's recommended!
