Absolutely incredible stay at La Couronne! This hotel truly offers fantastic value. The staff are exceptionally friendly, always going above and beyond to help with any request. The building is pristine and brimming with historic beauty, which adds to the experience. The location is perfect – right in Solothurn, Switzerland’s most beautiful baroque city. I would absolutely book here again!

We stayed many times and this time we stayed in a refreshed room.Clean light very nice.only issue was the bathroom the shower tray had no ledge or small step.So the water would run out into the bathroom floor.Great breakfast included nice staff has always and the guy on breakfast at the weekend we stayed is the best friendly chatty and he remembered use.Great new cocktail bar next door perfect we only found it by accident.

The reception on arrival was not very welcoming,rather grumpy male receptionist.There was a very busy queue for tea or coffee at breakfast time-only 1 machine available.The bathroom tiles were cracking and the plug for the sink did not fully open-the metal piece was missing. Convenient place to stay,in the centre of town. The receptionist on the day of leaving was very helpful and very pleasant.

We visited this hotel during a biking tour. I don’t remember the name of the gentleman that checked us in, but he was very kind & accommodating. It was our first day biking & we arrived exhausted, he gave us cold bottles of water, let us change in a room prior to our room being ready, gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner, & helped us store our bikes. The town is adorable, I wish we had more time to explore & shop. The breakfast was good. No a/c, which should normally be no problem but we were there during a heat wave, our room did have a window & they provided a fan too.

This was our first trip back to Morge to see family members since 2018.Stayed the last time here and on this visit the hotel, has since had a refurbishment and been refreshed and looks great.You get a very warm welcome with clean rooms friendly staff and a nice breakfast.If your looking for a great place to stay I would recommend here it’s good value to compared to other hotels in the area.

The Hotel de la Couronne is located in a quiet alley in the middle of the village; it offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in this timeless atmosphere of the 16th century. It is like an open-air museum in this Alsatian village. A typical Alsatian half-timbered house. The house is perfectly and cleanly run by Arnaud and Véronique Claudel, the second generation. There are also enough parking spaces in the courtyard.
