Padja Hotel & Spa, Vannes

The rooms are spacious. The staff was kind. It was good because breakfast was on. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit.
Hôtel & Spa le Maury, Vannes, the Originals Boutique

My partner and I had booked our room five days prior to our stay. On arrival, we were informed that the newly renovated Spa and Well-being centre were not open. This was particularly disappointing as my wife was looking forward to using the spa facility. When we asked at reception as to why we were not informed (no spa facilities) at time of booking, the staff could provide no answer other than give a shrug of indifference. We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the past ten years, prior to the refurbishment (Hotel Ocean Manche) and we were disappointed that the hotel has lost all of its Gallic charm. The exterior of the hotel now looks like a shabby undertakers, the bathroom (in our room) had lost its bath and bidet, and was now (post-refurbishment) cramped and poorly finished. The coffee facility in the bedroom is a Nespresso machine stuck in the open plan wardrobe, there are no glasses in the room, (when we asked for a couple of glasses at reception, we were given paper cups). Though advertised, there was no available Netflix or Amazon available to view. Overall very disappointing, and I am somewhat dubious of the numerous reviews listed on the hotel website that seem to heap praise on the wonderful bed linen? Finally, despite numerous complaints to the hotel, and Original Hotels Service Quality department regarding the lack of advertised facilities during our stay, no apology has been forthcoming, other than one email from the Service Quality department apportioning blame on the Hotel Maury (no response whatsoever from the hotel).
Ibis Vannes

REASON: Tour within a travel group. So the hotel booking was made through a travel agency. POSITIV: The hotel made a clean and ordinary impression in general. IBIS was an architecturally cozy. That means: Not the usual, horrible glass-beton bells but like a sort of rowhouse and only with 2 floors. The closed windows kept the volume from outside very well away. FOR Us PERSONAL NEGATIV: Location directly on the highway. Further away from the city centre. Environment is little attractive. In the bathroom of the room (see photos): Various areas appeared shame (?) and the mirror had many displacements. Rooms very small. The entrance area of the rooms was almost only possible for normal weights > incredibly narrow > even with baggage difficult. You had little room to walk, especially for second and with also 2 bags in the room > especially at night, when you had to - without trying to disturb the others - once on the toilet. Inside noisy! The rooms are very bright, Bsp. : You hear when the toilet washing is going in the neighborhood room or when you are showered there, when other room doors are knocked you stand in bed (which could not close silently) > Night and in early morning hours we were forced to do so frequently wake up. On the ground floor you live on the ground floor. So low that we could not/will not sleep at open windows - from the noise scene of the highway and the noises over micro and amplifiers brushed probably the tennis hall next to the later evening hours and just morning from 8:00 a.m. again. No waste bags in the waste box in the bathroom. The reception spoke as well as no English, not to mention any other language than French. Breakfast is okay. They had also 2x with dinner. This did not taste the majority of the group so. Most of all the meat was very growing.
Best Western Plus Vannes Centre Ville

We stayed here for 3 nights in August. After an initial problem with our room not being ready for several hours after we arrived, everything was wonderful. The hotel is clean and bright, and within easy walking distance of the beautiful old town of Vannes and the port. The superior room we had was fabulous and beautifully decorated. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the bathroom superb with a great rainfall shower, towel dryer and hair dryer. We also had fluffy bathrobes and slippers provided. The buffet breakfast was wonderful with a huge selection of food on offer. There was everything you could ever want. The hotel has a restaurant, but we didn’t try eating there as tried some of the places in the town instead. The bar area was nice, and they had a good selection of drinks on offer including cocktails. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. One lady in particular, Celine, who works in the restaurant/bar was absolutely fabulous. She was very busy but always took the time to chat to us, asking what we had been doing that day. The hotel has a secure underground car park with direct access via a lift. They charge €9 per day, but we felt it was worth parking there for peace of mind. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely stay here again in the future if in the area.

Excellent welcome, very friendly staff. My studio was equipped with a sofa bed. Everything was very clean and very pleasant to live in. The only negative point is that being out of the way, we couldn't easily find a place to eat.
Aparthotel Adagio & Spa Vannes

Very pleasant stay, the wellness area is worth a detour, swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna only cost 8 euros. In addition, the apartment is very bright and practical, and I appreciate the connected TV and the USB socket integrated in the bedroom light. I will definitely be back as soon as I get to Vannes! ! Also thank the hotel staff for their kindness.
