Golden Shore Resort

Great view of the ocean but beach area is not the best. Road leading from the main road to the hotel need to better maintained. Breakfast including omelettes, pancake scrambled eggs should be added to the menu

Rooms were large and clean, fit our purpose. Lovely balcony view and also loved the easy access to the beach area. Good breakfast for a reasonable fee. Will be our first choice to stay here every time we come to St Thomas!

The customer service was horrible. No hot water when we checked in, was told they can’t help me tonight and when asked what about another room? Was told if my room has none the others won’t have either. No apologies nothing. Came back late and was locked out of hotel. It would have been great at check in if guests were told doors will be locked after hours please use the hidden buzzer. Room outdated just given 2 towels and 1 wash cloth.

I didn't like the fact that they post 24 hrs access and we got there at 12 and were locked out. We had to book another hotel for night. Be honest about the service if it's 12 hours say 12 not 24

We loved our stay at Golden Shore. From the large airy rooms to the beautiful working beech, it exceeded our expectations. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the location is perfect for exploring a lesser known part of the island. When you go, be sure to dine at Angola and Fish Cove delightful restaurants on the coast.

I like the view of the ocean and the beach. The road to come inside the property needs to be better, also a paint job would give the place a nice fresh look.

The sound of the waves is what keeps me going back i love it

The first thing I saw was the dirty stairs with dead bugs which remained there for the 4 days I was there with my daughter....a real eyesore. Its a nice place but seems to lack good management. There was no chef and no food as they advertised. However the rooms were clean and spacious, and towels, sheets and soap provided and changed as needed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would love to return when its better managed. Was also very disappointed that they advertised a shuttle bus and sport bar available, but no such thing.
