Unfortunately underwhelming...
We booked a room with 2 double beds (alternatively 2 single bed) for a higher price because that's what we wanted - when we checked in, we were given a room with 1 double bed. Unfortunately the bed couldn't be spitted and no other room was available (which we highly doubted, as we were one of the early one's checking in that day).
We received a very soft co-sleeper bed...
The first night, we went to bed quite early as we were exhausted from the day. Suddenly, there was banging on the door - up to 10 times - before I was awake enough to open the door to 2 service guys from the hotel, giving me some cut fruits and 4 pralines - at 10:30pm!? I was totally confused by the time and behaviour...
Also the personnel wasn't of great help when asked regarding directions, post office, or else...
We just didn't like the experience we had in this hotel.

A great restaurant with a great location. Wide range of buffet. Clean, cozy, quiet, all rooms with ocean views, polite staff + lots of different animals running around the area. Wonderful place!!!

The room is not soundproof, you can hear the fart next door. In addition, there are singers singing in the lobby every night. The sound is so loud and noisy until after 11 o'clock. They don't stop and you can't rest at all.
When cleaning the room, either bath towels or toothbrushes are not given. I think it is intentional, hoping that the guests will call someone to deliver them so that they can collect tips. This is also a common problem in Lanka hotels.
The hotel is a bit old, but there are no tissues or slippers in the room. What's going on?

Great hotel with amazing beach views. Rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday. Staff were super friendly, savanga one of the pool staff made sure we had a great sunbed each day and was really friendly and ensured we were having a great holiday. Food each day was nice with the option of a great lunch menu if you’re half board. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good service overall, Ayomi, Malshi, and Lasitha were very kind and helpful. The food was really good, it had a good mix of Sri Lankan and western dishes. Overall amazing experience and even better views. 10/10 would recommend
