We chose this hotel after reading good reviews. I will say right away that even half of what is written is not true. + the hotel has direct access to the beach. The waves are big, but sometimes you can swim. There is a beach nearby without waves, but it is very shallow and there are sharp stones. There are 3 cafes next to the hotel with a very limited menu and quite high prices. The quality of the food is so-so. The hotel is quiet, mostly vacationers from Russia and Kazakhstan. The pool is not bad, they clean it periodically. European breakfasts 2 eggs, 2 spicy tasteless sausages, 2 toasts, butter and a spoonful of jam, 2 pieces of papaya and a banana. You can exchange it for a Sri Lankan breakfast. These are pancakes, boiled peas and lentils, milk soup made from rice flour. The hotel staff is very friendly. - the cons simply outweigh all the pros of this hotel. There is almost never any hot water. There was about 2 hours in 5 days. Cleaning and change of towels every three days. However, if the towels are not on the floor, they will not be changed anyway. Beach towels are not changed. There are 2 tables, a triangular table and a wardrobe in the room. One chair. There is no recreation area near the room. There is one in the middle of the hotel, but it is filled with broken sun loungers and chairs. There is also a dilapidated building on the hotel grounds, an unfinished building or ruins, it is not very clear. Very hard mattresses and pillows with solid lumps. We lived on the first floor, very strange, but the bathroom and toilet are outside, everything is fenced in with a high fence. The plumbing leaves much to be desired. There is also a platform near the shower, covered with small stones, which has probably never been cleaned. Garbage and broken bottles. A very depressing impression. Water only upon arrival. No tea or coffee. No TV. The general impression is of a half-abandoned pioneer camp. The hotel claims to be an Ayurveda center. I went for a massage, they poured oil on me and rubbed it thoroughly for 40 minutes. I didn't feel a massage as such. To be honest, it was the worst massage in my life. The price of the massage is more than 6000 rupees. For some reason, they put 6 needles for 20 minutes for the acupuncture massage. And that was it. Yoga is paid 2000 rupees. Massage tables with torn leatherette.

EXCELLENT HOTEL AND EXCELLENT GUIDE The hotel is wonderful, the food is very tasty and two beaches, one quiet and the other with waves, where there is surfing, they clean every day, the bed is very huge and the mattress is gorgeous, in general, everything is very, very good, the hotel is a solid four. I found a guide on the beach, his name is Cherry, he organized an excellent safari excursion on a boat and a gorgeous fishing trip in the evening with dinner, he cooked the fish perfectly, in addition there were musicians and a bonfire and fireworks on the ocean shore, it was simply amazing, the best guide! He speaks Russian very well, many thanks to him. Then we went the next day to the Elle mountains, rode a train on a nine-arch bridge and looked at tea plantations, we liked everything very much too. The next day we went to Galle to swim with turtles, I 100% recommend him to everyone, on the beach other guides cheat on prices, they slander Cherry that he is a bad guide, in fact he turned out to be the best and the cheapest prices, cheaper than everyone else.
