Eight of us, all old friends, took the MCH encampment at Garonga for a few days. It was a magical stay. The atmosphere in MCH was wonderful, from our individual tents to the food and wine to the location and decor. The wildlife that we saw was off the charts: well over a hundred different species, including all the game plus the birds and other assorted. I highly recommend.

MCH is a fairly new property on the Garonga property, consisting of 4 (yes, only 4) tents. Glamping puts it mildly, as it was one of the best hotel rooms we've ever stayed in, just with canvas for walls. The entire camp is decorated in colonial style and was gorgeous. A fully stocked bar in the "study" complemented the personal bar in each room, so we were never thirsty. The food was amazing - and the staff was attentive without hovering. I would highly recommend this one-of-a-kind experience. Don't let the term "tent" scare you off!

My husband and I recently spent 5 nights here and I can honestly stay it was amazing. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and informative. They all went above and beyond. The Game Drives were incredible. The food was fresh, varied and delicious. Our accommodation was comfortable and immaculately clean.

Our first safari trip, and they exceeded all our expectations. We were greeted warmly by the team, and then straight to safari! The team (Mosche, Floyd & Jeff) were all wonderful and very knowledgeable and friendly. Food and level of service was spectacular

A hidden gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Garonga Safari Camp last week. Just perfect. All the staff were polite, excellent and very caring. A credit to Garonga. The accommodation is outstanding, food and wine superb. The game drives with Ollie and Roy were magical with a potential surprise or two each day. It was great to see all the wildlife, birds, animals in their true natural environment and we all saw the big 5 and so much more. A special mention for Ollie Collis. His knowledge about all the different animals/species of birds/wildlife was incredible as were his driving skills in the bush and wild terrain. It is clear to see here is a young man who offers so much to continued understanding of all wildlife and the future. With Roy’s fantastic skills at tracking and finding all of these wonderful animals, as well as his deep understanding of the wildlife, these 2 gentlemen are a great asset and ambassadors for Garonga Safari Camp and the country. Thank you to all the team for a memorable stay.

If you want to go on a great vacation go to this camp. They really work hard to make sure you have a great time.

This was our first safari, and it blew our expectations out of the water! The staff went above and beyond for us and the game drives were excellent. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared facts with us on everything from the largest bull elephant to the tiniest insects. We saw 4 of the big 5 (leopards are hard to find in green season, but we saw tracks, so they are there!) and many other animals. Just be aware if you are coming as a family and spread between multiple tents, you can't walk between them at night without an escort, as this is an unfenced camp. We never saw wildlife inside the camp while we there, but I did see 5 zebra run by my tent while using the outdoor tub one night, which was pretty cool!

We stayed at MCH in the Alex room and it was LOVELY. Kaiser and Godlove were incredible and we saw so much game. The food was all amazing and it was a lovely relaxing trip!

We stayed 5 nights at Garonga MCH and had a wonderful experience. The room was comfortable, the service and the food were top quality, with great attention to details. Our guide and tracker were friendly and so informative.
