Raffles Mooloolaba

Newly renovated rooftop floor with kitchen and two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Inside staircase going up to the roof can enjoy barbecue and the sun. The whole family loves the stay and we highly recommended this hotel to families.

This accommodation is within 200 metres of the main beach at Mooloolaba, and at the top of the shopping *****. It is across the road from Coles and a major hotel. The accommodation itself is clean and very well appointed,and stocked with cleaning essentials. The unit is cleaned on a weekly basis. Management was excellent, simply could not do enough Our unit on the 6th level had a good view of the beach. It also had a small exterior landing with table and chairs: and from there access to an upper lever private lounge area with BBQ. However access is via a narrow metal winding staircase which is not all that easy to navigate

A spacious, very clean, well-appointed and nicely furnished apartment. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances, crockery and cutlery, allowing for self-catering if that is your preference. There is secure parking on site. The location is great, 2-minute walk to Coles and a hotel in one direction, go the opposite direction and you have several restaurants, cafes offering a wide variety of choices. The Surf Club is within easy walking distance. The wharf area also has several nice eating options. There are also plenty of retail outlets to explore as well. There are wide paved walkways which overlook the beach front, making for pleasant walks. Playground areas and rock pools to explore for children to enjoy. The managers at Raffles are welcoming and willing to answer any questions you may have about the area. Most importantly if something is not in the apartment or needs attention it is promptly fixed. We enjoyed our two week stay and we highly recommend this accommodation if you are planning to stay in the Mooloolaba area.

Each apartment is individually owned, so decor differs. The common denominator is cleanliness. Our apartment was well-appointed and offered a full kitchen, dining, sitting and outdoor area. We a had nice ocean glimpse as a backdrop and appreciated the washer, dryer and drying rack (that fitted easily and unobtrusively on the balcony). The location is fantastic and is only a leisurely stroll to an array of pubs, club and eateries. Coles is across the road on one side and the beach and boardwalk on the other. Parking is secure and transferring our luggage from car to apartment via the elevator was seamless. The pool and BBQ area is lovely (but a bit too shady for us). Management is super-friendly, helpful and very efficient. We will be back, for sure

The Raffles is a lovely complex of units. We stayed in a beach view apartment with a decent outside verandah we would have loved to use.Unfortunately the weather did not comply with our time there. There is everything you need inside the unit, if staying for more than one night you will need to buy supplies from Coles across the street. The unit was clean, air-conditioner and fans if required. The T.V had foxtel which was great in such bad weather.The internet was free and worked well. The admin staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped out when we had need of some extra TLC. The pool area was clean and enjoyed by children who don't worry about rain and wind. Great to see. The bed was comfy and pillows snuggly. There were only two small issues.1. If other clients use the front loader washer they need to dry the front rubber seal and leave a washer or small towel there to keep the door slightly ajar after use. Then the clothes you wash will not have the moldy odour on them. 2. Maybe some instructions stuck on the wall in the kitchen, how to operate, washer, dryer, dishwasher and the kitchen stove fan. Coming from Interstate we were stumped as to how to turn the fan on when we wanted to cook toast. We noticed our son had the same fan and he showed us that you have to pull it out to find the button. They had a good laugh at our expense. Certainly recommend the Raffles ,so close to the promenade or what we call the gauntlet of cafes, the beach almost across the road. Beautiful walks. Exceptionally clean and well kept property with lovely staff.

Fantastic location, close to the main drag with plenty of restaurants and 5 mins walk to the beach. Loved the apartment with superb ocean view, the room had everything you could need. Very clean units, pool area was nice and gardens immaculately maintained. Safe underground parking was a bonus. The managers Kim and Jacqueline were lovely. Would certainly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back as soon as we can. Thank you.
