Hard to find fault with this excellent hotel: Although in the centre of town, parking is freely available; the entrance is through a lovely parterre garden; the reception was warm and well-informed. The rooms are a good size with wonderfully high windows and a very comfortable and large (180cm) bed and a sizeable and modern shower in a large bathroom. Although we had a front-facing room, we experienced no traffic noise. Everything was perfectly clean, and the breakfast was good. Really excellent value for money and we will definitely recommend and return.

No fridge or air-conditioning in the room. Some staff at the reception may be friendly and customer-oriented. Aiding. We got little explanation when we arrived, so oa did not know where the sauna was, how it worked, what was there, if the water in the room was free (recall this, that gives your customers a good feeling). Conveniently situated a couple of km from the A16 this hotel had everything needed for an overnight stay and only 50min from the Eurotunnel. A great nights sleep and an amazing breakfast set us on our way the following morning. Can’t recommend enough. The evening before we even had time to check out the amazing beaches at Berke.

Let’s be honest, what were you expecting for €60 odd Euros? The sheets and towels were clean. The staff had a welcome smile. Sure the window curtain hung badly, the shower curtain was none existant, the security lock had the day off, and the paintwork was older than me! One night, 2 dogs and a tired wife. Worked for us. Not sure when or if we will repeat the experience but we were up early for a long drive south and that counted for a lot.

Hotel is situated about 10 minutes from Boulogne centre and about 15 minutes from the old town with the Notre Dame Basilica. Free on street parking outside hotel on Boulevard Pierre Daunou. Close to both the train and bus stations. Stayed 2 nights and had evening meals ate at the Ibis Boulonge sur Mer Centre Les Ports about 5 minutes away. Rooms clean and safe.
