Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel

Downtown Montreal Montreal|0.08km from McKinsey & Company Canada
First off, if you`re reading this and you`re a Bonvoy Platinum (or above member) then I`d book this over any other Montreal property. The Club Lounge is that good (more on that later). My family and I stayed her at the tail end of a Quebec vacation. The location is very central, just a couple of blocks away from Rue St. Catherine and the Metro and maybe a 20 minute walk to Old Town and Mount Royal. As others have mentioned, the lobby is undergoing a renovation but the Club Lounge is open and newly redone and absolutely amazing. We didn`t use the pool or gym but we did check them out and they look really nice, there`s also a large outdoor space just off the pool with tables so even if you don`t have club lounge access there`s some nice places to hang, especially in nice weather. Parking was surprisingly affordable for a large city at aroung $25.00 a day. Our junior suite was actually larger than I thought it would be a king size bed in the bedroom and a separate living room with a queen size sofa, my teenager used the sofa bed and didn`t have any complaints. The room also had a cool table/ that could electronically lower or raise and had a bunch of USB ports built in. I imagine this would be very handy for anyone wanting to get some work done in the room. The true jewel of this property is the club lounge, located on the top floor it has absolutely stunning views of the city and is the largest I've seen yet so even though breakfast was extremely busy, we still found seating. Breakfast consisted of eggs, french toast some breakfast meats plus a chacuterie and cheese platter, fruits, croissants etc. There was plenty to choose from and the quality was quite good. They do a really nice affternoon spread staring at 5pm that could easily take care of dinner with hot foods, chacuterie and even nice little dishes full of pickeled vegetables. My only complaint would be tht the bar service was very pricey. Also a couple of the attendants weren't very friendly and it was very challenging to get information about Gluten-Free foods for my daughter. The chef even came out at one point to talk to a worker I'd asked and even though I was right there, he didn't look at me or offer to help me find some foods for her. Of course this is only an issue if you're concerned about allergies and the food was plentiful and very good. Overall this is a beautiful property and I'll definitely return.

Best Western Plus Montreal Downtown- Hotel Europa

Downtown Montreal Montreal|0.23km from McKinsey & Company Canada
We initially booked at Best Western Europa (on Drummond) in Montreal and arrived after midnight. We travelled from Toronto and after checking in we were given room keys for the 2nd floor (can't remember the room number). The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade and this should begin from the Lobby area. The carpeting area along the corridors look extremely tired. The smell of the corridors is awful. It's almost on par with a hostel. The room we were initially given on the 2nd floor was deplorable and the room/corridor smelt like cigarettes and mold (as though the air conditioner was dripping into the carpet and the smell circulated during the drying process). I can tell the cleaning staff cleaned it as best as they could but the disappointment was not the cleanliness of the room but the tiredness of its appearance. The room(s) (I'm sure not only that room but all of them on the same floor) is too small and too shabby for the amount of money being charged per night. On taking one look at the said room upon entry, I immediately went back to the Front Desk and immediately voiced my disapproval to the Front Desk Assistant. After a short discussion insisting that I change rooms, I was obliged and given keys to a room on the 5th Floor, which I can attest wasn't much better! The only differences were the wooden floor tiles and a 2nd bed (the room on the 2nd Floor had only 1 bed). I must mention at this time, this room was labeled an 'upgrade'!!!! I was charged an additional CAD $70.00 for a room that didn't meet the CAD $70.00 I was being charged. Needless to say, I got into bed. Took out my tablet. Checked online for another hotel. Booked it and checked out a few hours later. On checkout, I informed the Front Desk Agent that I needed to go and be refunded for my additional ten (10) days I had already paid for. The refund was done in front of me and I'm currently awaiting my VISA Card Statement to ensure that the refund was indeed done. If the Best Western intends to keep patrons coming to patronize their facilities in the future, an understanding of what is expected when stepping through the doors of their establishment is required. We DO NOT expect shabby, tired, moldy, smelly facilities. We DO NOT expect ridiculous fees for facilities that are rundown, fatigued and extremely worn out. We expect an establishment that is worthy of what is being charged. Mention must be made that the hotel we ended up staying at was a bit cheaper and had better rooms
Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain

Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain

Downtown Montreal Montreal|0.28km from McKinsey & Company Canada
Wow! I think the Montreal Chateau Champlain might be my new favorite hotel in the world! Okay, it might have to stay in second place because the Westin in Shanghai, China is pretty epic as well-- but it is definitely my new favorite hotel in North America! And I travel a lot! This was my fourth time coming to Montreal for the Marathon, and we picked the Marriott because I could use points. I had no idea I was going to be so delighted! From the check-in with a charming young man who made an effort to put our rooms near each other and gave us late check-out so we could shower after the race and even upgraded me as a loyal Marriott member to the wonderful breakfast to the work-out room... everything was terrific! The blackout shades were amazing, and I was in awe of the toilet that sensed my arrival and lit up and heated itself to body temperature... High tech! The bed was huge and so comfortable that I actually just lay there for hours on Saturday morning, blissing out on pure rest for the first time in far too long! We were having such a great time that we debated staying another night after the race, but alas, duty called. Instead, we decided we would need to return again soon. I will never stay anywhere else in Montreal! Oh, and did I mention that there's a metro stop literally under the hotel? The parking (owned by a different company) was my only complaint; but now that I know I can metro everywhere, even that is solved!

Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile

Downtown Montreal
The hotel is very good, easy to downtown, shopping shopping, because of bad weather, could not find a convenient surrounding small supermarket, so it feels there is some inconvenience. Because we booked a room without breakfast, ordering in a restaurant to eat breakfast, very good, a little expensive. Overall feeling good
Omni Mont-Royal Hotel

Downtown Montreal
The Omni Mont-Royal Hotel is a perfect hotel in Montreal. Excellent montain view and quiet environment. I think I will back to stay this hotel next vacation. Love this hotel, so write a review. The location is in the central area, but it's backed by mountains and it's quiet. Suitable for non-upstart vacationers, you can climb nearby. The natural scenery of Tianhe Mountain is out of the window. I stayed for five nights and climbed twice. There are many restaurants near the hotel, about 15 minutes walking distance from Chinatown. Hotel service is good, French-speaking Montrealers are generally polite (speakers who speak Chinese loudly on the street will of course be blind-eyed), everything in the hotel is free and the staff is polite, I like this holiday environment . The hotel arranged a nice room for me, thank you very much!
Le St-Martin Hotel Centre-Ville – Hotel Particulier
4.3/5106 Reviews
Downtown Montreal
The hotel is located in the city center, there are many roads nearby, and parking is not convenient. I went around a large circle for the first time, and then asked the hotel front desk to park for you. The room is relatively comfortable, the bedding is good, and European style. Breakfast costs more than 20 Canadian dollars per person, not too many varieties.

Novotel Montreal Center
4.2/5116 Reviews
Downtown Montreal
We stayed a couple of nights pre-cruise to acclimatise and enjoy Montreal in the early Summer. We had a pleasant stay, very personable staff and a decent room. Novotel fittings seem to lean toward minimalist scandi which can give an air of being sp****, but bedding was very comfortable. Additional pillows appeared on request. Breakfast was interesting, again possibly post-covid staffing issues as things took a while but the staff were again very engaging. Great location on Rue de la Montagne with easy access to public transit and taxis to the port. Definitely would stay here again.
