Hotels near John Xina temple in Montreal

I think it's safe because it faces the main street, but the area around Chinatown is a little unsafe so you might want to be careful when walking around at night. The hotel itself is not very clean, but I think it is clean.

The hotel offers the basics. Nothing more, nothing less. Breakfast was disappointed (For me). There was not any protein served. No eggs, No ham, No cheese. Nothing hot. They had watermelon and pineapple, bread and couple things to spread on it. Juice, Yogurt and cereals. If you are good on these. Enjoy it. Another disappointing is parking. They charged C$35 a night, but you can find much cheaper options (40% less) in a block or two from this hotel.

There isn't anything near here except for the airport but it was nice being close to the airport for a good night's rest before flying out. The hotel would also be good for a business trip if you have to stay in the area and have a car. It does take about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the city from this hotel. The check in was quick and the hotel smells and looks clean. The room we stayed in needed a little help as the toilet paper holder was missing it's bar, the mini fridge was missing and the screw holes were quite visible and the some towels were quite frayed and in need of some replacement. The pool and hot tub were at a good temperature and there was lots of natural light in the area. There is a bathroom nearby which you can change in and the hotels are in the pool area. The TVs are pretty new but we couldn't find anything to watch so I would recommend bringing your own HDMI adapter. The hotel could do a better job for changeover of hotel rooms as the clocks showed the wrong time and the one went off unexpectedly at 6 am. There are better options in the city but if you are just going through Montreal or need a place near the airport this is a decent option for that and there is lots of parking.

Location is perfect ! Within walking distance from most things and literally connected to/in the mall. Service it was decent ! I remember them trying charge us just to check-in like 30 minutes early. Probably standard and still annoying lol however they held our bags for free ! Cleanliness was on point, but they did seem stingy with me asking for extra towels lol Amenities. The pool had too many children; wish they had specific times children are allowed to go and specific times adults are. I don’t think I used anything else. Overall, these are minor complaints ! I wholeheartedly recommend and I would def stay there again ! And my mom agrees !

Nice hotel, very big rooms with comfortable bed and clean. The rooms were equipped with a refrigerator and kitchen and we had a nice stay. The downside was the breakfast which was poor in my opinion. Also coffee in the room from the coffee machine tasted bad.

It was so nice and everyone was so kind too! I’d recommend to visit here before the day when you depart through airport!

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the city center, 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, the room is large, I booked 2 nights with the child, bought a pizza at the nearby supermarket at night, bite the microwave in the hotel, delicious I like it very much. Later, because I rushed to the hotel, I needed to check out one night. The staff of Ctrip also helped me communicate very smoothly. Thank you for the arrangement of Ctrip. Thank you for your staff. This is the most annoying experience of the trip. I booked for two nights and gave a room after I arrived at the store. After I swiped the room card, someone in the room had already checked in. After changing rooms, the air conditioner did not cool, because it was already late, and decided to endure one night. The next morning, I went to the front desk to complain and promised to repair. As a result, we went back one evening and did not have refrigeration. Communicate to the front desk to change rooms, the front desk brother is very good, just some muna. The result is not bad. Breakfast is simple, parking is very convenient, and it is convenient to eat and shop around.

Positives first: the area felt safe, close, by car, to various restaurants and the Ikea store. Parking was convenient for our car and teardrop trailer. In walking distance, Boulangerie Ange offers amazing bread, sandwiches, quiches, desserts and more. The breakfast room in the lower level was busy but not too crowded. Coffee-meh, but served in real cups. The usual offerings of a hot buffet including the baked beans popular in Quebec. Absent were Yoghurt and peanut butter- cost cutting? The room was very clean and while the furnishings were dated they were very well maintained. The family owned chain is obviously investing in the property, making it more attractive for guests. Light sleepers may find the sound of the air conditioning annoying as it is extremely noisy. We finally turned it off. Toiletries and towels are basic and thin and the tissues dissolved on first blow! The price was reasonable though and overall I would stay again. Thank you to the friendly front desk staff who accommodated our request for a later checkout than their stated 11am.

We flew into Montreal and stayed one night at the Fairfield. We were picked up at the airport by a courtesy shuttle bus and within minutes we were at the hotel. Check in was very quick and the staff members were very efficient and friendly. Our room was very spacious and had the comforts of home. After putting our luggage in the room we went to the bar for a drink and were taken back by the price of a bottle of beer $10.00 The morning continental breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of selections. I would highly recommend this hotel and it’s very close to the Dorval Via Train Station.
