AVOID AVOID AVOID We booked through a 3rd party reputable website and paid in full non-refundable. When we showed up at 4 PM, we were turned away because they overbooked and were only honouring the airBnB bookings. They were unhelpful and rude. The 3rd party website customer service called the hotel but surprise, surprise they were not answering the phone. The lobby was full of guests who were also scammed. I used the toilet and it was covered in feces stains. We had to drive home at 1 am because all other hotels were booked and the 3rd party website would not rebook us without confirmation that we were turned away and the hotel was not answering phone.

I stayed here May of 2023. Note: Not one of the pics on this site are accurate now. See mine. Renovations are almost completed. Lots of pros and lots of cons to staying here I'd say: Rooms and bathrooms renovated with new furniture and built-ins. Looks much nicer than pics on this site. Great location. Reasonably clean (some construction dust) Very nice staff (shout out to Yannick! Very helpful) Reasonable price A/C split unit worked great. Shower worked pretty well (cheap shower curtain) Good water pressure and temperature. Lots of cons: No breakfast (those are old pics) No blow dryer (I knew that from other reviews and brought my own) Somewhat noisy, you could hear everyone walking in the hall (hollow hall floor?) Laminate flooring (clean) but it popped. I kept thinking someone was knocking on my door every time I moved. Shoddy renovations (several drawers not on sliders falling out of furniture. Furniture not put together properly). Windows needed replacing. Only opened 3/4" (probably for safety as it was street level). Beautiful tile in the bathroom (fake laminate), but looked pretty real. Same with stone in lobby, but looked pretty good/real. Housekeeping never came (3 day stay) even though I specifically asked them to (twice). I did get clean towels and then as I was getting in the shower 2 mins later they knocked on the door to clean the room (!?) I had asked them to that morning and left the door hang thing and they were just in the room next door at the time. 4+ hours later, room still not cleaned. Would I stay here again? Yes, but hopefully a better room, further from the lobby with a door that didn't have a 3/4" gap at the top.

For what it is, this works. Location is excellent if you are in for a concert on the east end of St. Cath, as we were in town for. Rooms are quiet enough, lobby is safe and friendly. If you are not expecting much, this room is sizeable and clean. Obviously outside the hotel, in this part of Montreal, things are pretty sketchy, but the hotel is pretty solid.

This is shameful. We were notified a few hours before that our reservation was cancelled. No compensation or solution was provided and here we are on the street at 6pm in the middle of Montreal in temperatures of -10°C. I do not recommend that you trust this establishment.

The people are friendly but the facilities are very light. You can hear all the noises in the early morning, lots of homeless people in the side corridor. You won't be able to sleep. I was in the middle of a disturbance with a woman screaming and no one responded to the problem. I saw a mouse in the room.

hotel well located for visits, but in an unsafe environment. The area is full of drug *******, I spent 3 nights there, and we didn't sleep much, there's yelling in the street. In addition, drug ******* take a room on weekends, and no one on the floor could sleep, the reception tried to call them but as they didn't pick up, nothing changed, until I went back to knock on the door again, and I really thought I was going to get beaten up. the parking lot opposite is also full of drug ******* and car thefts are regular, you have to park in a paid parking lot further away.

My son and I were at this hotel when we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist who could not find our reservation or the payment for the tourism club, my son had to make another payment for our stay so that we could enter and wait for the next day everything to be resolved . Right at the entrance we already noticed that the hotel did not have accessibility, the entrance is stairs and to get to the reception there are more stairs, the room is comfortable, the shower was good, but the bathtub was dirty full of soap residues who will wake up very early. Because early in the morning, the noise in the hallway from a maintenance team starts, I think, that was very early, a total disrespect for the guest. The next morning, another receptionist with more practice and kindness managed to solve the reservation problem and return the misused value . We stayed two days and we both had issues with noise. And I've seen in some reviews that this happened other times, so it wasn't a one-off thing. Although on the website it says that it doesn't have breakfast for breakfast, not even to pay for the part, so they should remove it from the hotel's page. The location is relatively good, but there is no parking, and the place where the hotel indicates, people are always using ***** at night, we didn't have any accidents Thank God. Well, the fact of not having accessibility, the noises and the lack of parking makes me not recommend this hotel. If you don't mind, you can give it a try because the cafe has a nearby place to drink it.

Friendly welcome by a person who advised us well according to our requests, hotel which has been redone and which still appears to be under construction. Average neighborhood with a lot of drug ******* in the nearby streets, otherwise 1km from Old Montreal, easy to do on foot. Average and quite small room. Non-existent service, 3 nights to pass without having seen the shadow of a cleaning lady! We had to ask for the towels and each time, the next day the same thing! They forget to clean (€600 for 3 nights anyway!) I do not recommend this hotel, which is obviously run by an amateur! It is not enough to have the hotel name to claim to be a hotelier, it is a whole! The sequins and velvet at the entrance are not enough!
