Sonder at the Richmond

Amazing apartament, it was a good experience! The apar**ent was located at a very good distance from the city center and points of interest. The apar**ent was equipped with everything necessary.During the night it was very warm and we will definitely choose Sonder again.

The location can’t be beat. To have an apar**ent to ourselves, in a safe and accessible building, located in La Chine, was amazing! We had the best time. We would definitely go back with our entire family.

Went to visit my son and family. They live about 1miles from this location. Everything was great with accommodations and the area was exactly what we wanted. Will definitely stay at the Richmond again!

Very nice apar**ent. Clean and well equipped. The complex is very quiet except when there is something going on at the outdoor seating at the restaurant on the first floor. Ear plugs are provided but closing the windows solved that issue. The location is very convenient to a wide variety of restaurants and bars. The Lachine Canal, Marche Atwater, Metro Plus, ****nal Contemporary Art are all within a few minutes walk of the apar**ent . If you you need to get out farther there is a bus stop about 2 blocks away. One tip for anyone who likes coffee but doesn’t need the large drip coffee maker I brought my small one cup French press to enjoy the excellent artisan coffee that Sonder provides.

We recently stayed in Montreal at 400 Rue Richmond, Superior Two-Bedroom Apar**ent. What a beautiful location. Great location. Easy walk to the Bell Centre and other Montreal destinations. Great restaurants in the area . We loved the app and the breakdown of amenities in the area. The apar**ent was amazing. It is a safe and very secure building. The beds, including the pull-out couch, were super comfortable. I love that coffee and the coffee whitener were included! There is a little gym in the building that is available to use. The only two ‘negative’ feedbacks I’d give are in the ensuite bathroom, behind the Sink was not clean :S (but the rest of the place was pretty much spotless). The ensuite vent also needs to be cleaned. It’s pretty dusty. Also, there was a plug by the couch and only one of the outlets worked. No parking is included but we booked a parking spot using "clicknpark" a few blocks up the road. The pricing was reasonable and the parking garage was clean and secure. We had no issues whatsoever. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. This was our first experience with Sonder. I’d recommend Sonder to others and I will stay at Sonder again.

Sonder at Rue Richmond was amazing! Clean, spacious, comfy beds (even the pull out couch). My only two complaints were by the sink in ensuite, was not clean (looked like blood splashes ) and one of the outlets by the couch did not work. We loved our stay tho & would definitely recommend & book again. No parking included. It we used Clicknpark (app) & parked a couple blocks up (rue Dominion). It was a very clean safe underground parking.

The Sonder at Richmond offered a decent sized apar**ent in a good location. The kitchen and bath were well stocked and it was reasonably clean. Check in and check out we’re seamless with the Sonder app and everything went smoothly throughout the stay. The overall condition of the unit was a bit shabby. Walls need repairing and the sofa needed replacing or cleaning. I would consider returning if it was freshened up but if not there are many other options.

I will never stay at another Sonder hotel! The room smelled faintly of smoke on my arrival. Unfortunately I didn’t lodge a complaint at the time. When I returned home I was sent an email saying that I had been smoking in my room and was charged an extra $250 cleaning fee. I am a non smoker. I can’t stand the smell of cigarettes. I left the hotel room clean and made sure the door was locked. I received pictures from Sonder showing numerous cigarette butts lying on a table and the floor. Were theses actually in my room or a picture from a different one? Did someone else have access to my suite after I left and before the cleaning staff arrived? If this is the case they have a serious security issue at this hotel. Or maybe the cigarettes were planted by the hotel or cleaning staff so they could pad the charges. Whatever happened, I have no trust in this company. The suite was clean but smelled of smoke. Walls were a bit marked up. The couch was in very poor shape. The bed was comfortable.

Good experience as usual at Sonder and a very convenient stay, checked boxes for every perspective including suite, building, parking, location. If the other building amenities could be added like gym that will be great.
