Moxy Montreal Downtown

The hotel is pretty new with good location. Underground parking is provided with fee. A large gym with 24 hours opening. I recommend this hotel.

Moxy is a brand-new hotel in downtown Montreal. The staff is friendly, and check-in was simple. The hotel is very nice, but the hallways are very dimly lit. The room was spacious and very clean with floor to ceiling windows. We had a city view room with two queen beds. It was perfect for the two of us. The bathroom is large with a shower that has two shower head options and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (none of the bottles can be tampered with - they do not open). There’s no closet in the room, but clothing hooks and hangers can be used instead. A very small fridge is available in what looks like a nightstand. There is no dresser in the room either. Instead, there’s a drawer under the foot of the bed. An ironing board, irons, and extra towels, etc. can be found in an assigned room on each floor. There’s a fitness center, lounge, and pool. The restaurant/bar is nice and offers a decent menu. Music from the 80s and 90s is playing in the lobby and elevators 24/7. Underground parking (with in and out privileges) is available for a daily fee and is only accessible with your hotel keycard. It seems as though the neighborhood is under redevelopment, so there’s not much nearby. However, the hub of downtown, where you’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants, is just a 15-minute walk away. We enjoyed our stay at Moxy and will consider visiting again the next time we’re in Montreal.
