Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel, staff was amazing and the hotel is beautifully presented, lovely location I would highly recommend the hotel and the town is perfect, with plenty of shops and restaurants, great value. Will definitely be back

My wife and I visited Montignac-Lascaux for four days and stayed at the Hotel de Bouilhac. The hotel is listed as a historical monument from the 17th century. The rooms are spacious and upon entering our room were greeted with a bottle of champagne. The hotel is convenient to the center of town, the staff extremely competent and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed at the end of a day of touring the hotel's indoor pool.

the problem is the property was listed on ******* as an "upscale spa" with a long list of spa amenities. but, it's not a spa at all. they give you a brochure for a spa across the bridge and down a few blocks that you can book with. when i brought this up with the manager, Delphine, she blamed it on *******. After my complaint the misleading listing and description was all changed. besides this, the hotel is quite nice, great rooms, friendly staff and a nice onsite independently run restaurant.

Fabulous hotel in Montignac. Superb dining, service, and comfort. Outstanding customer care -- staff were so kind as to set up a meal for us in a private location in the hotel -- we had brought in our own food and added a cheese plate but they took care of all else. Lovely views, an indoor pool and the town of Montignac, with the Caves of Lascaux nearby (walking distance) made for a perfect stay.

FINE HOTEL WITH QUIET, SPACIOUS, COMFORTABLY DECORATED ROOMS WITH OLD WORLD GRACE: THINK HIGH CEILINGS, FLOOR TO CEILING WINDOWS THAT OPEN ONTO STONE BALCONIES, AND WOODEN SHUTTERS. BATHROOMS ARE UP TO DATE AND SPACIOUS, WITH HUGE TUBS AND HAND HELD AS WELL AS OVERHEAD SHOWERS. FRONT DESK STAFF COULD NOT BE MORE GRACIOUS AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION IS BEYOND PERFECT. SHOPS, RESTAURANTS, THE ENTIRE CHARMING VILLAGE OF MONTIGNAC AND EVEN THE LASCAUX IV CAVE EXPERIENCE ARE WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE. THE ONLY QUIBBLE I WOULD HAVE IS WITH THE BREAKFAST. THE PASTRIES WERE LOVELY, AND THE COFFEE VERY GOOD, BUT PRICEY AT 15 EUROS PER PERSON PER DAY. THE" FULL BREAKFAST" ADDS ONLY UNREMARKABLE EGGS AND BACON, AND COSTS 25 EUROS PER PERSON PER DAY. THE LADIES IN CHARGE OF BREAKFAST WERE ALSO NOT ESPECIALLY FRIENDLY. I RECOMMEND INSTEAD MAKING COFFEE IN THE ROOM, AND WALKING THE TWO BLOCKS TO THE NEARBY PATISSERIE THAT HAS LOVELY CROISSANTS AND OTHER PASTRIES FOR WHICH YOU WILL PAY FOR TWO PEOPLE HALF OF ONE BREAKFAST’S COST AT THE HOTEL.

The suites was payed extra for and the. I’d like to see the standard rooms. It was nothing like the pictures. Terrible! The service overall was kind but very hard. All the staff-member was smoking together in the entrance, not very nice. The food was 10/10, amazing!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The building is absolutely stunning and there is a lot of attention to detail to make the rooms look gorgeous. The staff is flexible, always pleasant and very thoughtful in their service. A real gem.

The decor and friendliness of all of the staff made us feel special and like we were the only guests staying there. The location was perfect for a stroll into town or by the river. The attention to detail in the rooms meant we had everything we could have wished for and gave a luxury but homely feel. We look forward to trying to plan another stay but next time with friends and family.

This is a very stylish hotel that has been beautifully renovated. We stayed here 2 nights so as to experience the Lascaux caves and museum and experienced warm service throughout our stay. Our room was large and spacious with 2 bathrooms and a nice view. The only small disappointment was not finding out when we booked that dinner at the hotel is not offered on Mondays and Tuesdays but after mentioning this to the hotel they said they will inform future customers.
