We slept 2 nights in Le franco Belge, while doing a bicycle trip. The hotel is in a good location, in the centre of town, and close to the bicycle route Trans-Ardennes, La Meusa à Vélo and close to the Route Semoysienne. Important, you can park the bicycles in a safe place. Our room was small, but clean and quiet, with basic comfort. Small, standard breakfast buffet. What we like, was the green terrace at the hotel, where we could eat outside in the evening. Good food. We had half board, but next time we should go for bed and breakfast, because half board has a limited choice for diner. In front of the hotel is the Tourism Office. Very kindly lady there, who even let us put our luggage there, because Le Franco Belge was still closed when we arrived at noon.

🌟 Un lieu où l’on revient toujours avec plaisir C’est toujours un réel plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel-restaurant. Le cadre est charmant, notamment le coin petit déjeuner, joliment aménagé et proposant des options pour tous les goûts. 🪴 Selon la saison, on peut choisir de se restaurer dans une salle intérieure confortable ou en terrasse, à l’extérieur, pour profiter du beau temps. 👨🍳 Le personnel est à la fois agréable et professionnel. Toujours prêts à rendre service, ils contribuent largement à la qualité du séjour. Nous y retournons chaque année depuis une dizaine d’années — et c’est toujours avec la même satisfaction !

Très bon accueil et déjeuner de qualité. Nous nous sommes arrêté par hasard et avons apprécié notre halte pour la qualité de l’assiette et la gentillesse des patrons. Après avoir passé 5 heures à moto nous étions parés pour la suite. Belle étape.

We namen de dagschotel op het mooie terras. Een varkenshammetje, zeer mals in een lekkere saus met lekkere frietjes maar geen verse mayonaise. Grote portie, we kregen het niet op. Zeer vriendelijke bediening die ons de rest meegaf. We gaan er nog gaan.

Le cuisinier est excellent, le menu n'est pas très créatif mais bien réalisé. A contrario, les chambres sont médiocres, mal équipées, et le personnel de service désagréable. Dépêchez vous de manger, et ne vous attardez pas. Monsieur, quand on déteste les autres, on ne fait pas ce métier...

N'hésitez pas!
Vraiment super, l'hôtel est vraiment confortable! Nous étions que 2 la première nuit et le petit déjeuner était quand même super! Hôtel calme et confortable et plein de randonnées à faire dans le coin.
Souci technique au restaurant, on testera à notre prochaine visite!
