Résidence Club Mmv le Hameau des Airelles

It's a good choice, beautiful location, clean, wonderful pool and spa, wifi, etc... Animation in French language ( right), but honestly I am not agree that a residence 100 meters from the Italian borderline has not Italian channels on TV

We went the Easter weekend 2024. First skiing holiday. We were recommended MMV and went with low expectations as it was self catering and our friends had described it as basic which it was. But to be honest it is perfect for a family skiing holiday. Ideally located for the ski shop and cute food shop boulangerie and next to a free shuttle bus which takes you to and from the centre every 20mins or so. The accommodation was a little scruffy around the edges but we will definitely stay again. What we would never do again was the half board option. Having never been here before and our friends were a little sketchy on food options we thought we would be good to upgrade to guarantee nice food. The upgrade is with their partner hotel @anova which is a high end hotel a five min walk a way. However the food was very mediocre and inconsistent the worst thing was the service and rudeness of the staff… we were treated as second class to the anova guests continually left queueing for empty tables which were then given to hotel guests. Dinner took at least two hours every night and on one occasion I waited so long with my two children I had to walk out and feed them pot noodles despite having prepaid. It was typified by my 5y.o saying why do they hate our family so much Dad? That aside I won’t let that ruin a truly fantastic experience of montengevre and the MMV. Best feedback for MMV is sort out their website the booking was a nightmare and don’t offer the half board!

The room was completely dirty. We thought about using the vacuum cleaner but even it was completely dirty. We complained to the assistant manager but he came to our room and hedidn't agree and started yelling at us, even in front of our children. Terrible customer service

The apartment was spacious and clean, we enjoyed a quiet week.. has a well equipped kitchen ( no microwave). I fonund it a bit odd that we had to put on our bedding and remove it before departure, also had to ask reception for a bag to put dirty sheets and towels… Check in was a bit chaotic as available only at 17h, even though check put is mandatory at 10am with demand to clean kitchen etc before check out.. Club enfant very nice !! Information about the residence was almost inexistent, ex where to take out the garbage… Location a bit on the side of Mongenevre, if you skiing it s next to a slope and next to luge sur rails, but a bit far from center of the station, 10 min on foot or by shuttle ( when waring ski equippement 10 min walking is alot especially with children)

Very average value for money. Although the residence is well placed for children's ski lessons. The residence and flat (Arbousiers) were dilapidated. Several doors had difficulty closing. Size of children's bedroom too small to turn around. Wall lights poorly fixed and dangerous. DVD player not working. The ski room was unheated and impractical, with no light and no bench for putting on boots. No bar. Cold swimming pool Hammam out of order Very limited cleanliness of the area.

Apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Excellent bed and heating was easy to adjust. Outdoor pool and spa area lovely, we used it every day. We arrived on a Sunday, with Crystal, and were able to access room straight away with the key being left in a coded safe, which was a bonus. It was obviously not the case on Saturday when many people were waiting to check in late afternoon but the hotel details do warn that is the case, so be prepared to not get into your room until early evening. We didn't have much need of the staff but they were helpful when we did & fixed our only issue of the DVD player not working very quickly. Access to the slopes in the morning is easy, just walk across the road and ski down to the Tremplin or Serre Thibaud lifts depending on which side of the resort you wish to go. Skiing back to the door is only possible via the Pharo run. Several well stocked food shops are nearby.
