Great location, clean room, friendly staff. Easy access to the Rambla from the hotel, with good restaurants nearby. The only negative issue I had was with some of the homeless being aggressive in asking for money. Stick to the main streets and you'll be fine.

We recently stayed at the Sur Hotel in Montevideo as part of our trip to Uruguay. We have stayed at the Sur Hotel multiple times over the years, and as always, our stay at this charming and comfortable hotel was fabulous! Not only is it perfectly situated very close to downtown, the Old City, and El Mercado del Puerto, but the service from the staff is always exceptional! The owners helped us book a car from the airport, and also a car to Piriapolis. They always give us great advise about where the best restaurants are and they are just lovely people. We are always so grateful to have stayed in such a warm, comfortable, and friendly environment. It is the only place we will stay when we are in Montevideo!! Thank you Rafael and Adriana!!

Great location in montevideo. Large rooms and cool ambiance!! Rafael was helpful in sorting out anything that i needed help with and was very gracious with his time. Highly recommended! I will be back

Fuimos en familia por dos noches. El hotel es muy bonito, con una decoración muy agradable, estaba todo limpio y ordenado. Nos atendieron super bien! Hice la reserva porque me habia gustado por las fotos que ví y por los buenos comentarios que tenia, no me equivoque en la elección. Ademas tienen muy buen precio.

Personnel très accueillant et aidant ! Chambre familiale parfaite pour 6 personnes. Je recommande ! L’emplacement est très bien (proche de la mer), chambre très propre, salle de bain très propre. Eau chaude pour le maté et micro-onde à disposition

Muy lindo hotel . Ya habiamos visto fotos y nos habia gustado mucho ...ahora que lo conocemos nos encanto!!! Las habitaciones muy prolijas y super limpio. Las re epcionistas muy amables al igual que las chicas de limpieza. Todo muy lindo. Para recomendar!!!
