location is good,2blocks to the main shopping street. No coffee machine or kettle in the room, 2 bottles of drinking water is not Complimentary.

This hotel looks like a palace and is unique. The food provided by the restaurant in the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced, which left a deep impression on us and is worth recommending.

The Hotel is extremely well located. It is a few meters from 18 July with an exchange office (with the best rates I found in Uruguay) very close by. Easy access by bus, the stop if I'm not mistaken is less than 100 meters away. Breakfast is very good, the options are repeated a lot, but very tasty. The bathroom left a little to be desired with that model with a bathroom below, it could be dangerous for the elderly and very uncomfortable for me who is 1.81 tall. Some of the pillows had a strong odor and I simply ignored it. Air conditioning didn't work so well, it took a long time to cool the room. The bed was 2 single beds joined together, which hindered comfort a little. I rate it from regular to good. The location was fantastic. In general, I recommend it to people who are not very demanding and who are going to take their days to walk around and enjoy the location. If you need to work in your room, I don't recommend it.

Breakfast was good. The entrance to the hotel is very nice, the rooms are good for the price although there was a smell of pee in the bathroom. They had many errors in the reservations. We had booked a month in advance, confirmed by phone before arriving, everything was perfect. Until we arrived and they wouldn't let my husband and children enter. I was not yet at the hotel, but I had already warned that I, who had made the reservation, was arriving a little late. Both the emails and the previous calls were of no use, since the person who assisted me was not there, it seems that there is little communication between the people who work there. When they complained, they passed the ball between them. Then we managed to get the room and it turns out that when we entered there were 3 soccer players, the same thing had happened to them too, they had found someone in the room. They gave us another one but instead of triple, double. We slept very badly since there were 4 of us in two beds. After a 14 hour trip. But no one was able to give us an explanation or solution.

Reserved a room for 3 adults and 2 children, they would not honour our reservation saying the room would not accomodate the baby and that we would need to book an additional room. After arguing for 30 minutes, they finally let us have the room.

We didn’t feel this is a 4 star property…more a 2 star property. The good was front desk staff was helpful and friendly at check-in and check-out. The bad was having issues with the shower/tub not draining well, and dimly lit bathroom due to a light bulb out. The hallway doors are cheap hollow doors and make a lot of noise when opened and closed. Overall the rooms could use a renovation! Also, The restaurant was closed upon checkin and it was only 7:30pm. We did sleep pretty well since it was a long day, but it was not all that sound without my white noise machine on my phone. I would not recommend if you are expecting a 4 star property.
