We stayed with the family for 15 days in August. Overall we had a good time even if in our opinion something should be improved for a hotel that boasts 4 stars. On the merits: RECEPTION: very good, very kind and helpful staff. ROOM: although spacious and always very clean, it has very old furnishings (I think from the 70s/80s) with carpet on the floor (hygienically not recommended) and a bathroom without a shower cubicle but with a large tub used as a shower. The sea view is definitely appreciated (we stayed on the sixth floor). RESTAURANT: From breakfast to dinner there is a variety of products and the quality is good. The environment is quite noisy and confusing, which did not bother me too much having a small child. Quality is lacking in the hot drinks dispensers which in my opinion are certainly not up to the task of guaranteeing a good product. (Coffee that always leaves deposits in the cup and is not good quality). The Abruzzo evening and the one with international dishes are appreciable. English: We would have preferred a bi-weekly management of the menu rather than seeing the seven dishes cyclically proposed the following week in the same order. It should be noted that there is no fruit at dinner but only a dessert. Desserts that unfortunately I must say are definitely not the restaurant's flagship. POOL: Well managed by the very professional lifeguard who is attentive to everything that happens, also very affable and friendly in her dealings with guests, even the pool could perhaps do with a "freshen up" but all in all it is in order. BEACH: Pertaining to the hotel, very convenient and close to reach even if unfortunately the spaces between the umbrellas are very limited. I would have preferred a little space between one deckchair and another. PARKING: Excessive in my opinion the 8 euros per night, from a 4 star hotel I would expect at least some shading structures above the cars (something I have seen in nearby hotels) which would certainly justify the expense without the cars being left to "cook" under the sun. ENTERTAINMENT: I am not a fan of overly pushy entertainment and I would say that I had a good time, pleasant and never intrusive. OVERALL: I started out a little skeptical from the negative reviews, I had a good time overall, I don't know if I would go back but only because I love changing from year to year and to return to the same structure I have to be totally won over. A piece of advice if I may, I would advertise it more as a Family hotel than an actual 4 star. From the negative reviews you can tell that those who wrote them are used to frequenting 4 star hotels (maybe in more exclusive locations) and in my opinion this does not reflect the level of the hotel (in my experience it can be an excellent 3 star family hotel). Last thing, why is it possible to have fruit during lunch and not during dinner? This thing, especially with children, left me surprised. Thanks
