I asked to go to the Cd. de Monterrey, N.L. through my son's Visa and host me in this hotel that the truth is at a quarter of the U.S. Secretariat for Foreign Relations; The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are very clean and has a restaurant that as guest includes a American-style breakfast, well can complement**** for a very affordable cost, a strong dish for breakfast. The staff in general are very educated and friendly, check-in very fast. Something to improve would be that they put in the bathroom, as they do in most hotels, a bottle of cream because they only provide shampoo and soap and for people who in some way travel lightly through the stay and stay. The airport regulations for the transport of liquids, as we cannot carry everything we need for our personal toilet and something else too, should provide a TV channel guide in the room, The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, and it is very comfortable and comfortable.

The first time I went to check in, the location was in the center of the city, and the surrounding area was very prosperous. There were shopping malls nearby, shopping nearby and business meals were all satisfied.

Located 5 minutes away from downtown Monterrey and right by a medical center, this hotel has a lot to offer. I was here for an eye exam and it was such a convenience staying right next to the center. Instead of going out for something to eat, I was able to Uber Eats the food to the hotel. Front desk is very accommodating and friendly. Room is clean. I would definitely stay again!

Went in for one night only attending a business talk in Monterrey. Rooms are available starting 15:00 so I had to wait / work since 10:00 at the lobby that had no A/C and roasting at 35ºC plus 70% humidity.. At the lobby most of the electric outlets are non functional so I requested an extension I could use to connect my hardware and the only one they had wasn’t working either. No options so had to walk 3 blocks to buy one out of my own pocket. The front desk staff does very little to help ar make things easier. All answers start with a “no”. Once room was available I couldn’t take of my shoes off and walk bare footed as the floor was dirty with some kind of gummy thing over it. Bedding was OK and also the A/C but towels were very worn-out. Was informed that lobby level cafeteria was 24 hour service. Not true, on Friday morning checking out at 05:00 it was not available. An extra detail, the pavement on the street curbside is being rebuilt and it’s messy and dangerous to walk and no warning or easy path enabled. Counter Will let my client and his travel agency know about this.
I chose this hotel while processing my visa in Monterrey and found it very convenient due to its proximity to the mall, the embassy and downtown (and hospital if you had an emergency). Traffic could be bad going back to the hotel ONLY if your driver doesn't know the right way, which is to go straight instead of turning right at that junction (ave san jeronimo i think). 1 out of 5 ubers we rode turned right...and it was a loong wait indeed. Our room was clean and quiet, the beds soft, the internet fast and we had a safe and ref inside the room. The breakfast had good variety - and the omelette was superb. Patricia in the front desk was very helpful, and even provided help when I forgot something after I've already checked out. The area was very safe, and we walked freely even during the night. I didn't get a chance to go to the gym nor the pool. Overall a relaxing stay.
This is a nice e hotel, with a great interior design, and very comfortable spaces. Located in Valley Oriente mall in San Pedro, NL, its a great option if you are visiting Monterrey, as is conveniently located and in a very secure area. There are plenty of dinner options nearby, and the site restaurant and bar are good options as well. The only but i see in the room design is that the water closet is not completely enclosed.
Live Aqua took a bit to get used to two receptions, one road side and one on the 18th floor, but at both a good welcome. Room looked great and well appointed, the Molton Brown toiletries, full mini bar, good size bed, nice linen, dressing gowns etc remote control curtains, The only problem Awas the wet room! After a shower the water didn’t drain away, it pooled around the bottom of the bath and the blinds and curtains, leaving for much of our stay a flooded and at times unusable wet room. On notifying reception, the drain was ‘looked at’ but the issue was not rectified. We had breakfast one morning in the hotel and whilst the food was good , unfortunately the same can’t be said for the service. We were not advised how the breakfast system worked, and when I went to take some toast from the open hot counter I was shouted at by a waitress “ have you ordered toast?” He we been told that toast, or anything else had to be ordered then I would have known!!! Considering the amount of staff on the floor and the star rating of Live Aqua, the standard of service we experienced in the restaurant was disappointing. Would I stay again? Unlikely.
We arrived late at night and did not realize what part of Monterrey we were staying in. Instantly we were impressed with the hotel. The staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. Even past midnight on a Wednesday, someone that spoke English was working the desk which made check-on a breeze. When we woke up in the morning and opened the drapes, it was floor to ceiling windows facing south and an amazing view of the mountain range. Not only that, we were in the most cosmopolitan area of the city. There are tons of restaurants, bars, a massive mall, all within walking distance. We ate breakfast every morning at 1856, the on-premises restaurant. It was amazing. Yes, a buffet but one that was top notch and enough choices to make anyone happy. The pasole on Saturday was perfect. The various salsas were great and the pastries were very local and tasty. I believe that 1856 becomes a steak restaurant at night but we were busy exploring the city. The staff was great, rooms were always cleaned. For Americans that don't speak Spanish - there was one English channel on the TV, I think Fox News or CNN and then one sub-titled channel that showed movies and FX shows. Uber was extremely quick when we called. The location was great. Maybe 30 minutes to the mountains to hike, horseback or boating, or a five minute walk to any type of retail you want. I would stay here every time we visit Monterrey as the experience was completely awesome.
This hotel really misses the mark. They're trying hard for a minimalist vibe, and I dig that. However, they cheaped out on the finishes and the (relatively new) hotel has not aged well. The floors, furnishings, and fixtures are worn: scuff marks on the floors and furniture, loose and cheap fixtures in the bathroom, toilets that flush intermittently, bad wifi throughout the hotel, A/C that turns you into a popsicle and doesn't adjust... I only had breakfast at the restaurant but it was mediocre. It's not at all what I expected from a hotel like this. It was your basic eggs, beans, fruit plate you'd get at somewhere like VIPs or Martin's, except not nearly as good. This hotel might be cool if you're here on vacation with your girlfriend, but who the hell comes to Monterrey for vacation with their girlfriend? I get the feeling that whoever was the money behind this hotel had a wife who had a friend that claimed to be a ”designer,” and that's who got the gig to design this place. But she was in over her head and completely failed. If you're going for the mega-mamon, I'm-From-San Pedro-And-My-Family-Is-Important vibe, you can't do it with Ikea furniture. In short, it just doesn't work, especially for the price. The only bright spot was the maid service. Even though they missed my room and didn't come by until 5:00 PM, it wasn't their fault and they were very friendly and efficient. No chance I'm staying here again.

Excellent
This hotel should have been great but it isn’t. Love the location and the surrounding area but the hotel and its staff were beyond disappointing. First, I checked in and walked up to my room and the door pushed open without me using the key. Hotel rooms lock when they shut but this one didn’t fully shut so, therefore, it doesn’t lock. That’s a pretty big safety/security issue. I went back to get a new room and when I walked to it, it did the same thing. 2 rooms, 2 doors that didn’t lock. I was able to slam the second door so I waited for a person to come to repair it. They came but they couldn’t do anything until the next day so they said they would fix it then. I left my room, slammed it shut and then went to work. When I returned, it just pushed open. All my stuff was in there and the door was just open. Massive security and safety issue!!! I finally got another room that allows the door to close easily. I can’t believe this isn’t a known issue. This hotel has been open for a while. I addition, the breakfast at this place is terrible. Business people come down to find a few pieces of cheese, a few pieces of pepperoni, cold egg frittata, and a giant container of hot verde sauce. I drink tea and they have tea bags but no hot water. You need to ask. It’s tiny, terrible, and the wait staff look very annoyed. This hotel thinks it’s a hip, trendy hotel but it operates like the crappiest hotel in some small town in Iowa. Except the staff at that hotel in Iowa are nice and don’t think they are too school for school. In total: 1) safety/security problems 2) terrible food, especially breakfast 3) staff that think they are working in a high end hotel but they are not.
KKarla CThe hotel itself is very nice. Pretty, clean, and kept well. The rooms as well, Were great; simple yet clean, comfortable, with great views and comfy beds. Even the bathroom was pretty. When you check in, they give you these vouchers for you and whoever is staying with youfor breakfast. So, if you forget it, lose it or just simply don't have it, you can't eat. Breakfast was pretty decent though, a combination of a continental and Mexican breakfast. Plus, staff in the dinning room were very nice and helpful and that is always appreciated, especially early in the morning. Wish their front desk was the same. Their parking is a bit strange in my opinion since they don't have one on site and instead you have to park in a shopping centers garage. I tried to get help from one of their front desk personnel and the look of annoyance on this guys face just irked me, especially since I approached him as polite as possible. At one point, he laughed at us when we told him the instructions he was giving were not making sense. In the end, I assumed he felt us being annoyed and just took a deep breath and drew us a map but even while doing so, was condescending with his tone. Not the best experience. There is a shopping center next to the hotel with stores, restaurants and coffee shops but for the most part, you'll need a car to go elsewhere since there was nothing else nearby. Again, beautiful hotel but not the nicest front desk reception at any point in the day.
It is a very good location, clean, with comfortable beds, very good attention and above all, with a rich lunch, made at the moment and the taste of every person. The only thing that's uncomfortable is parking, because the space is small, for when you're driving a big truck.
GGuest UserIt was almost 20 minutes to be taken into account in the row at the entrance When they arrived, they asked me 100% of the value of the credit card stay and was booked by travel agency, One week later I still contest to get the value back, and I was given the key to a room that was already busy, with the risk of finding another guest inside. The cards that open the door of the room demagnetize most of the times you will use, even away from the cellular, stored in the wallet. The room is small and dark and after it is all over in the dark, you find the first switch. The pad was opened in the room, the maintenance resolved after it was started, the breakfast has the main options, and when a few minutes left, open a window behind the dishes and collect everything.
LLaofangfangThe facilities are very new, clean and hygienic, the service is attentive and considerate, the breakfast is rich, and the price is high. It is the first choice for business trips.

Very Good
GGuest UserVery good, but not very good breakfast, but there are many left, but there are still many shortcomings, the shower button in the bathroom can not be used, but the others are not bad
GGuest UserI loved the service, the amenities, and the facilities. I could not take my breakfast because of time and personal activities. anyways I enjoyed my stay in that hotel. furthermore, I like the idea of having coffee since 3 a.m.
