My husband enjoyed our short stay at the beautiful Borgo San Luigi while on our tour of Italy and found their hospitality to be the upmost professionalism we’ve experienced in our travels. First off, My husband and I are major food eaters, My Husband is Gluten free and this hotel has many many options of foods to accommodate to him in every way shape and form from snacks to delicious gluten free dinners. We spent a full day at the resort as well as a full day touring around on a vespa they found for us to rent (had it delivered to the hotel for us!). We can confidently say the food at the resort was by far the best. The beautiful architecture of the hotel and landscape was so well kept we could not stop staring at it as well. One of the waiters, I believe named Fransisco, was able to accommodate a lunch for my husband that he could not stop talking about how delicious it was. He was craving something not on the menu and Francisco made it happen. Every need of ours was fulfilled by the employees, even a drive to the train station on our departure, so kind! We could not have asked for a better stay. 10/10 & 5 stars and we recommend this hotel to everyone that is thinking about staying around this area. Villa Montecastello is conveniently located in the popular Monteriggioni area. Both business travelers and tourists can enjoy the hotel's facilities and services. To be found at the hotel are meeting facilities, BBQ facilities, laundry service, library. All rooms are designed and decorated to make guests feel right at home, and some rooms come with air conditioning, heating, desk, balcony/terrace, iPod docking station. The hotel's peaceful atmosphere extends to its recreational facilities which include outdoor pool, massage, table tennis, garden. A welcoming atmosphere and excellent service are what you can expect during your stay at Villa Montecastello.

This is truly one of the nicest hotel stays I have ever experienced. It is such an elegant resort, spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Our room was in a little ”dovecot” type building and was huge with a separate sitting room/dressing room area and ultra-modern and spacious bathroom. The one thing that set this resort apart from me was the peace and quiet, you literally don't hear a sound apart from an odd car passing but that's it. No loud music, no one shouting or messing at the pool, it was all just very civilized but in a casual way. The staff were really lovely, particularly Luca at the bar area who made the most fabulous Limoncello cocktails for me pre-dinner each evening. Another massive plus for the resort was its proximity to the small town of Colle di Val d'Elsa, when I was researching where to stay in Tuscany I noticed that most of the very nice resorts were outside of towns, this was literally a 5 minute walk or 1-2 minutes by car. The town itself was typically charming with a lovely piazza/square which had some restaurants and bars, a supermarket and a chemist as well as some other small shops. All in all, it was such a memorable and pleasant stay for us, we will definitely return :)

We stayed in this facility for a weekend outside with friends. We had booked two apartments, one inside the main palace and the other in one of the ”secondary” palaces. Between the apartments were clean and well maintained. The historical palace of the 500 was incredibly spacious and bright, and the terrace and the numerous windows also gave the opportunity to look at the fantastic landscape typically of Tuscan. The staff were immediately prepared and welcome despite being a young and numerous group. At the arrival, we had a formula for the aperitive that, in front of a fixed quota, gave the opportunity to drink all the sprits you wanted with stuzzichine attachments (patates, peanuts, etc.). Super satisfying also breakfast with a classic sweet and salt buffet. The best quality products that have ”driven” us to eat at the swamp. I complimente the staff, I will not miss the opportunity to advise friends and relatives for their stays
