This is a nice hotel for a stay in Monterey. It's in the heart of downtown with plenty of restaurants nearby. And also very close to the marina. I will definitely stay there again.

Everything is great except no indoor swimming pool, only heated outdoor swimming pool at facility.

Overall, I am satisfied. The staff is friendly, the location is close by to some eateries, and it is overall clean. My only two complaints was the toilet kept running all night so my husband had to turn off the toilet water when we go to sleep and the walls must be paper thin because I can hear my neighbor’s water running or closing doors or talking as if they were in our room.

We drove along Highway 1 and checked into the Monterey Marriott.
The Marriott Hotel is definitely great, the rooms are large and comfortable.
There is a swimming pool, a terrace, and many rooms, but it takes a long time to find a room.

I booked the hotel very late because Marriott’s official website showed that there were no rooms, so I used Ctrip to book it.
