Great little hotel
Great little hotel. Covered parking and within easy walk of lots of places-aquarium, cannery row, great restaurants. Employees were fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay at the Wave Street Inn! The location is excellent and convenient for access to the beach and Cannery Row. The hotel itself is no frills. There is a small open air parking lot on the ground level and one elevator accessed from the parking lot. There is a lovely rooftop fire pit area that we loved. Our room specifically did not have hot water in the shower… we did notify the front desk who did not do anything to remedy that situation which was not ideal but overall not the worst issue to deal with. I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Monterey for a short stay.

We were on the third floor and you could hear the guests above walking. Floors are very creaky. If it’s windy it blows and it really loud through the door and window. Based on photos and review we expected a nicer cleaner room. I would not stay here again for the price we paid.

Perfect location
I haven't been to Monterey in over 25 years and staying here has inspired more frequent visits. The hotel itself was easy to get to and the overnight parking was competitively priced. I loved that they give you a snack bag at check-in. They definitely know how to treat long-drive travelers. More so, the staff was really nice and the location was perfect. There's really no need to l drive anywhere because you can walk to restaurants and hit other tourist spots, including the aquarium. We're definitely returning!

We stayed on the third floor and could hear the guests above walking. The floors are very creaky. The wind was blowing and was whistling though the door and window which were both closed and locked. We expected a cleaner nicer room based on reviews and photos especially for the price we paid. It’s very convenient to walk and drive to close attractions but we would not stay here again unless much cheaper than what we paid

Very close to the ocean. Most rooms have a good ocean view! The outdoor area is very nice with some fire pits to spend the evening by. This spot is a block away from cannery row which is where we spent most of our time.
