"The hotel is integrated with nature, with lawns and huge trees, and you can feel the beauty of nature. Carmel is nearby, and there are convenience stores and breakfast shops nearby.
The golf course is connected to the leisure area, where you can lie down and enjoy the scenery. There are also small animals, which is very good for leisure and relaxation.
There are restaurants and bars. The restaurant is not very big and may not be open at night. It depends on the date.
The front desk manager on the first day was very enthusiastic and professional, which improved the favorability and relieved fatigue.
Thanks to the help of Miss Paula in the restaurant, the dinner service to the room was ok."
"The room is not big and very simple, the yard is not small and parking is very convenient. The breakfast is definitely too simple, there is no eggs or meat products, and the coffee is also unpalatable. The bedside lamp in the room with a USB plug is good."
"It is an older hotel in the United States. The rooms are relatively small, but they are clean and tidy. The downside is that the air conditioner is very old and noisy."
"Monterey is a chill seaside city, we spent a very good time in Monterey. Hotel has good location, 2 mins walk to seaside, lots of cafe, bar and restaurants. Highly recommended."
"I’ve been to Monterey many times over the years and always considered spending a little extra to stay here. My stay was alright. The room was clean, loved the big tub and stand alone shower. Duvet was very comfortable but only thin down pillows with no support.
I was disappointed with my “ocean view” which ended up being brick wall of the building next door, with a questionable metal “balcony.” If you were brave enough to peer over you could see the ocean.
Parking is $50+ a night whether you valet or self park. We weren’t told which of the nearby parking garages were affiliated and ended up in the wrong garage the first night and had to pay double. If I stay again I’d just skip on their garage and use the one on Foam St for $20 overnight parking.
We did not visit the restaurant so cannot speak on that.
Area is fun, love the proximity to the aquarium. Lots of little touristy shops and cafes right outside on the *****.
For the price plus the additional parking fee I do not know that I’d stay here again. Driving to all the local hot spots is pretty easy so staying a little bit away from the area and spending less seems to be a better idea for me personally."
"Because Carmel's accommodation options are too expensive, I want to say that I chose the lighthouse in the next town. Unexpectedly great! The room looks much bigger than the photos and the facilities are very thoughtful and complete. The fireplace is really nice and warm! !! 17 days in the United States, this is the best and favorite accommodation ~ In addition to the buffet, there is another menu to choose from (there is no extra charge). Many choices are delicious. Most of the other guests are Americans who come for vacation. It's near the sea, and there are deer nearby, suitable for watching the sunset ~~"
"Very close to downtown Monterey and close to various attractions. It's just that the refrigerator in the room is too noisy at night, but everything else is fine."
"“I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment. The pricing was very reasonable, offering outstanding value for money. What stood out the most was the friendly and attentive front desk staff, who made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodations at an affordable price.”"

WWozhoudaiannuoFacilities: There is a fireplace in the room, love is miserable!
Hygienic: It looks very clean!
Service: The service is very good and the reception is warm. The breakfast is a bit rudimentary.
Hotel location is very good, you can walk to the beach. Be sure to go to the beach to watch the sunset in the evening, beautiful.
There is a restaurant near the hotel, you can eat if you are hungry.
GGrmoFor a resort that starts at ~$2,000/night this place falls very short in various areas. For an all inclusive resort there were very few dining options (it was either the sur house or the pool side bar). Most of the staff were really friendly but we did feel like the housekeeping staff weren’t too professional at times (once they opened the door to our room even when we told them to give us a few seconds to get to the door). Although the resort is in a beautiful location, I don’t know if I would consider this place luxurious.
KKandeskiGreat location (close to 17 Mile Drive and other scenic spots), spacious, clean and cozy rooms, family-friendly inn with sufficient parking spaces.
Offering simple but nice complimentary breakfast.
Excellent guest service before, during and after the stay. A special thank you note to the day and night staff who patiently assisted with the FedEx delivery arrangement for delivery of a lost item to another city.
Would love to come back and stay again!
AAnonymous UserThe location is splendid. Everything is alright except for the fact that we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs to reach our room. There are in total 2 sets of stairs with small steps and our luggage was quite heavy. There is an elevator but it only carried us to to the floor and not where our hotel room is actually located. You definitely need to request for wheelchair accessible rooms if you don't want to burden yourself in carrying your heavy luggages or if you are bringing someone who is disabled or the elderly. The free breakfast had a pancake maker which was really nice.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean. When I took a shower, I was surprised that the white shower curtain didn't have any stains. I booked an ordinary motel with low expectations, but the sanitary conditions far exceeded expectations. The refrigerator and microwave were fully equipped, and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast is packaged and taken away by yourself. Each bag contains milk, fruit, cheese, etc. You can take cereal and coffee as you like. In short, it is quite good to stay for one night while passing by. There is a gas station below the hotel, and there doesn't seem to be much noise. Maybe some truck drivers will stay here, but it's quite friendly.
GGuest UserEnjoyed every night here. Complimentary adult beverage at the bar first night stay of the hotel was nice. But the best part was knowing 24 hr beach access right in front of our room was the best decision I ever made. Views were great. Not too far from down town. Definitely would recommend.
GGuest UserThe rooms were OK nothing great and seemed clean but water waste could be avoided with newer toilet and shower valves. This non water waste had a sticker in the bathroom. The breakfast was serve yourself and very basic. The pool looked clean but the spa had an baby in it with a diaper on and the grown ups [parents?] didn't care but we did. All in all very pricey for what we got and the add on taxes/fees really kicked up the price...beware.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very good, and the location is also good. There is a gas station and supermarket at the door. It is only a dozen minutes' drive to the city, which is very convenient. The hotel has a swimming pool and hot springs, and the experience is very good
YYUEThe biggest advantage is that the room is big and the bed is very comfortable, but the room facilities are like an old house in the 80s. Breakfast is only a simple breakfast such as coffee and yoghurt. Even the eggs are not likely to be expensive. Carmel is worth more than two hundred dollars.
GGuest UserThe room can be, the room with two beds will look small, the faucet is relatively simple, of course, the facilities will be old, because the age is relatively old, the front desk service is good!
