Absolutely wonderful experience. The Palazzo is in an excellent location right in the center, which was where portions of the Twilight Saga, New Moon was filmed, (I did not realize this until I was there). This one of the few places that I saw or found that is actually in the town of Montepulciano. You can walk to everything! Soooooo many enoteca’s, and wine cantina’s, not to mention the huge variety of restaurants! The hotel is wonderful! Great breakfast with an amazing staff! Valentina was absolutely fabulous!!! And went above and beyond to make this the most memorable experience! Amazing service! Valentina went above and beyond to make this the best experience, and the attention to the smallest details were amazing! Me and my best friend also did a cooking class onsite, and it was wonderful! I try to do a cooking class every time I am in Italy, and this one was by far my favorite! I truly can’t wait to stay here again!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself is beautiful and the service is next level. We had breakfast made for us every day, at the time we chose, by a personal chef. The location of the hotel was great and right in the center where we had easy access to everything. The hotel us with all of our excursions/plans and made some great suggestions. The cocktail class that we did at the hotel was one of my favorite activities! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend them.

This was kind of a last minute reservation as we cut out time short from the prior property and needed a quick replacement. We took the only room left which was on the first floor to the right immediately upon entrance to the hotel ~ the office was right across the hall. Typically, the only time someone is there is when you check in/out so it's important to make sure of your timing. We weren't able to make connection so had a difficult time getting someone to let us in, but eventually did. The lady who greeted us and helped us get settled felt really badly for us as we hadn't had a meal since breakfast and everything was closed until much later in the evening as there was a big yearly celebration about to take place (we barely got our luggage out of the car and parked about a mile away before all the roads were blocked). Anyway, this very gracious lady, went into the kitchen and made us a simple but delicious meal ~ we were treated so well, it was a wonderful treat. Our room was not real large and we had to go up a flight of stairs to the bath room, but it was very clean and comfortable. Any negatives would be overruled by the location ~ right on the main piazza in the middle of everything. One feels very safe walking around at night and enjoying the town after the tourist crowds leave. The breakfasts were very nicely prepared with plenty of choices making it a good meal to begin the day. We could have moved to one of the bigger, and more luxurious rooms after the first night but decided it wasn't worth all the extra moving. There is no parking right on the property, but we were given great directions to an area that one can find parking after the tourists leave. You can drive your car to the hotel's front door, unload, and then move it to wherever you can find a spot if it's during the day. If it happens to be during the yearly festival, you need to plan to park and walk a loooong way!! Most certainly, I'd stay here again and would very much recommend the property.

Exceptional accommodation in a beautiful part of Montepulciano. This is an amazing hotel that made our trip memorable. The rooms are stunning and majestic, the hosts are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The area is central and you can walk comfortably to the best local shops and restaurants. This is truly one of the best hotels that we have stayed at.

We stayed for one night on a quick tour of the Tuscan countryside. the suite had a bedroom and a lounge, all decorated in very palatial style. Lots of unique furniture and statues, plenty of places to sit and plenty of space, but the thing that was most amazing was the hand painted walls, which even close up, looked like cloth and curtains. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were very good plenty of hot water. We had a room at the front which looked out over the square. There were a couple of plug sockets for charging things up, and free wifi. Breakfast was continental style with choice of eggs, but as my wife is vegan, they actually went out and bought special vegan 'meats' and even cooked some tempeh for her. Great to stay right in the middle of the city, easy to explore, and an amazign place to stay for the night.

Lovely palazzo with antique furniture for a different overnight stay. Upmarket B & B. Central position in a quiet main square. Full continental breakfast with cooked eggs. However, for some reason guests have to share one table at breakfast, which only seats 4, (two at each end) despite being 4 bedrooms to rent. So, when people all want to leave early, a bit difficult with breakfast timing. Breakfast room large enough to place 4 small tables.

Con: parking instructions were horrible! Pro: Everything else. Location is amazing, service, and can't say enough about the breakfast prepared by Yvona. We have no words to tell you what a fantastic person Yvona is. She walked with us and drove with us to help with parking. The room is spectacular with private living room.

There are four one bedroom flats in this old building, with no AC, that dares to call itself a luxury Palazzo Nobile. There is no public space, not even a chair to sit other than in your colourful flat amidst, fake antiques that are left tattered for age effect! Full redit must go to the lighting expert for amazing but misleading photographs. The municipal dump, where the local restaurants deposit their rubbish and wine bottles, is adjacent to the back of the property. Five meters away they are renovating a large old house. The noise is unbearable, and at 6 - 7am they tip the bottles into a steel truck, so be ready to get up early. Luckily most people stay one night only, however I stupidly prepaid for 15 nights for my 'Tuscan Palazzo Nobile' experience. I left after 13. They then fraudulently tried to debit the credit card for over €2000, saying that I was booked for longer, luckily our bank was alert and stopped it. My nightmare was intensified by my safety worry, as all the electrics are exposed, the entrance and exit is the same door, with no fire exit!. Surely that is against the law. The service, which is, for breakfast only, was excellent, however there was no one to serve any breakfast on one morning! The same owner has, Osteria Porta di Bacco, Antica Trattoria il Marzocco, Il Nobile Restaurant, Antica Locanda la Mosela. Montepulciano is a beautiful area, but depends on its wonderful wine rather than tourists. It is dangerous for one person, with such attitude, to control so much interface with the tourists. The San Donato Group, needs to know, the world is full of wonderful locations, and tourist choice. This attitude and mistreatment caused the downfall of nearby Chianciano !
