Borgo San Vincenzo

Stayed for 4 nights in connecting suites with our two daughters. We love the place, and I agree with most of the very positive reviews. The property, rooms, grounds look amazing and are (for a four star place) above what you would expect. The staff is amazing, very service oriented and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. I want to highlight their experience team, as that is not that common to have in such an accommodation. Very competent, broad choice in activities and they will organize it for you, really outstanding. We also loved relaxing at the pool, enjoying the pool service with very large variety of cocktails and also good lunch options. Borgo San Vincenzo is ideally located, within 20-30m you have ample opportunities for sight seeing, wine tasting and restaurants. The place would be perfect if they would could improve small number of things. For some reason the owners chose to have a Nespresso coffee maker machine instead of a proper Italian coffee machine. That is really Italy coffee horror. Why, we have been asking ourselves. Everywhere in Italy, from gas stations to bagno's to luxury restaurants they will serve you their best espressos and cappuccinos. Italians take pride in their coffee and how they prepare it. We love that and enjoy the good coffee in Italy. Having to drink Nespresso for four days was a small annoyance, but we believe easy to fix. Just get rid of the Nespresso and buy a proper coffee maker and foam your milk with steam. The breakfast is sufficient, they offer various egg dishes on request and the buffet has a small variety of breads/ toppings, some fresh fruit. Last small tip, maybe add some healthy drink and food options to the pool menu like smoothies, fresh juices, wider variety of salads, fruits etc. Now the drinks menu has a lot of choice especially in the 'with alcohol' section, but very little choice for 'non alcoholic' options, for example, I asked for alcohol free beer, but they didn't have that. Still, despite these smaller imperfections, we highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay here! The rooms are updated but the property has so much charm. Great bar and creative drinks! We loved cooling off in the pool each afternoon. The breakfast and dinner were both great. For breakfast there were eggs to order. For dinner we were there on a pizza night and then the regular menu. Both were great! The owner is around and we loved getting to know him and hear his story. We also loved the service from the concierge. Jonathan helped us plan an e-bike day to two vineyards and set up dinner in town for us. He also arranged transportation back to Rome when my husband left. Everything was top notch!!

Set in a lovely part of Tuscany, this resort offers many comforts. The rooms are spacious and clean, with plenty of fluffy towels. Rooms have outdoor spaces for relaxation and their pool is refreshing. Breakfasts are delicious with several offerings from a menu as well as an extensive buffet. They offer a pizza night with many choices and they are fabulous. Try their homemade Lemoncello in a spritz. I'm still dreaming of them....

Borgo San Vincenzo is one of my favorite places. The service is incredible—everyone is so kind and makes sure everything feels special. The best food, the drinks are a big plus too! I’ve been a couple of times, even spent New Year’s there with my family, and we had the best time. Perfect for a romantic trip, friends, or family getaway.

An idyllic haven in the beauty of Tuscany. The BSV exceeded our expectations from the check in experience, to the grounds of the property, to the amazing staff and fantastic restaurant. BSV provides a natural and relaxed environment, with well appointed rooms and extremely comfortable beds. The property is set away from the road and is calm with the sounds of birds filling the air. The onsite restaurant produces consistently high quality food, we stayed here 5 nights and were not disappointed. The staff wrap up the experience and nothing is too much trouble. We fully recommend BSV and will be returning.

This place is incredible! So many different places to just relax and enjoy yourself. The pool, Firepit, lounge chairs, restaurant, bar, sunroom….plus you can see beautiful sunsets from here! Staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly! Every single one of them was happy, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay perfect!
