B&B I Due Gelsi

The b&b is located on the second floor, without a lift, of a small building not far from the historic center of the enchanting village of montelibretti. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the very kind and elegant owner, and my room, number 3, had a faulty lock, making it difficult (for the owner and for her husband who rushed to help) and impossible (for me) to close from the outside the door. Now I don't leave jewels or gold bars in the room, but the lock has to work. Owner and husband have made it clear that they have known about the problem for months, so not solving it constitutes a shortcoming. The room is very clean and very large, with large wardrobes. The very modern bathroom, the shower is equipped with a central onion and a hand shower for those who prefer it. There are no mini shampoo/bath foam like in hotels but a huge bottle of shower gel and a dispenser of liquid soap and one of intimate soap. Absent the body cream, and also absent, fortunately, the balm, which I've never understood what it's for and which many hotels insist on placing in the bathrooms. But the body lotion would help. Numerous towels. The shower is equipped with a mini shelf, to be able to place the shower gel and other things, a larger one would be needed. The lights are dim, today LED technology allows you to buy powerful lamps without spending a fortune on electricity bills. The bathroom is raised with respect to the room, and this first of all involves an annoying and dangerous step between the bathroom and the house, furthermore to shave you have to bend your knees slightly. The mattress is extremely comfortable and I slept perfectly. No mini fridge. At the entrance of the structure, once you reach the second floor, there is a charming sitting room, also equipped with a library, all very clean and well-kept. There is also a not very small kitchen, I don't know if guests can use it. Breakfast is served in the sweet life bar opposite, where a very kind girl gave me an excellent vegan croissant and a soy cappuccino in which the coffee was of an amazing quality. A single person pays 35 euros per night, if you go in two you pay 50 euros. Breakfast is included, and credit cards are accepted. I often go to montelibretti, and will certainly return to the two mulberries, after making a phone call. they have to guarantee me a working lock. John

Camere accoglienti e ben riscaldate, bagno pulito. In cucina per la colazione i proprietari ci hanno lasciato una buona crostata, ma anche del formaggio aperto e maldestramente riconservato con pellicola e latte aperto; poco igienico sicuramente. Neanche una bottiglia d’acqua anche se eravamo in tre ospiti. Per 70 euro a persona era il minimo.

sono tornato ai due gelsi memore di una precedente esperienza positiva. Prezzi leggermente aumentati, una doppia costa 60 euri a notte, non piu; 50. Siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria, la simpatica signora Claudia, che ci ha dato le chiavi. La stanza e' pulitissima, silenziosissima devo dire che erano anni che non dormivo cosi' bene. La colazione e'compresa, e potete scegliere se farla al bar o in struttura. Al bar si puo' prendere solo una cosa da bere ed una da mangiare, quindi non conviene, invece nell'ampia cucina Claudia prepara tantissime cose, uova sode per chi vuole il salato, poi yogurt, caffe' latte e torte artigianali e cornetti e tante altre cose. In particolare io ho preso un ottimo cornetto e un caffe' americano, mia moglie cappuccino e fette biscottate con marmellate. In bagno non troverete le antipatiche bustine con shampo e bagno schiuma ma confezioni grandi, come quelle che abbiamo in casa, finalmente! Cosi' e' possibile fare piu' di una doccia. Le stanze danno su un salottino delizioso, con comode poltroncine e tanti libri a disposizione dei turisti, veramente una cosa meravigliosa. La finestra si apre su un panorama bucolico affascinante. Insomma un posto dove sicuramente tornero'. giovanni
